I'm surprised at some of the names on this list, but they all make sense with the amount of money they're making, and roles on their team.

AJ Hawk really intrigues me as a guy who could cover for Washington's suspension for a bit, and then start next to him for a while when (if) he's back, without breaking the bank.

If Wilfolk is cut, there's going to be a long line behind him trying to get him. He will not come cheap.

We have the solution and it will come cheaper than Wilfolk... the guy's name is Dan Williams and I am just ticked that a lot of people treat the thought of him going to another team as no big thing :?

I'm with you, and imagine him getting quite a good deal if they let him out of the door.

The Packer defense got better when they sat Hawk. I don't think he is a starter.

If the Pats cut Wilfork, it's because they would probably rather spend his type of money on someone like Dan Williams, IMO.

Larry Fitzgerald

Richard Saenz (Fox 10 sports) talked about Fitz on the news this evening and played a sound bite from Keim. Keim said he didn't want to see Larry playing in another uniform and referenced Michael saying the same thing. He said negotiations with Fitz's agent, Eugene Parker, were on-going and productive. He was very complimentary towards Parker. Keim ended by saying he was hopeful they'd get this done. (Not an exact quote... but close.)

No it's because the team was last in the league in short yardage defense and he is old. He also has the second largest cap hit on their team. They need the money to resign mccourty gostkowski and extend revis because they can't do his current contract. They would never sign another nose tackle for decent money they will roll with their younger guys.

Agreed. If I had to choose, I'd keep Williams over Fitz. Williams should be their #1 priority (well #2 after Cromartie but I think he's gone) to re-sign.

I'm not one of those. I think he's come along nicely since his rookie season. I think he's a great asset to this team.
