Caps space, ooooou, cap space.

We need to be smart. Sure okay. In the meantime the Bears, Commanders and even the Panthers are going crazy. Didn’t realize the Bears and Panthers were in a position to take a major step.

We sign one Big John and some guy named Gaither- Schmaither, whatever and we are supposed to be jumping for joy.

I really don’t want to hear “ it’s still early”. It’s early my ass. Same old crap. We are never going to be a franchise that “ makes a splash” or this is laughable, AGGRESSIVE!

We continue to want to be the shrewdest team it football. It’s always hidden gems, bargain basement buyers looking to impress everyone.

There were players out there that could have been Cardinals and would have been awesome signings. Okay, we didn’t get Hendrickson but we could have signed a guy like Wharton who’s stats were actually better than Williams. no

We could have signed Reddick… 14m for one year. Are you kidding me?

The rest of the league are firing bullets and we’re playing with cap guns.

Sorry, Bidwill you suck and Monti you are no better although you are strapped working for a second class owner. Please let me know when the Gaither-whatever jerseys become available. They should be flying off the shelf,

Pathetic.

FA is for suckers. It's all there in the stats, you just have to look.

The Panthers massively overpaid for a bunch of JAGs yesterday. $18m per for Tershawn Wharton?

There are about 6 teams that signed more external FA's than we did, and we got one of the best on the market. Most of those teams have rookie or garbage GM's. The teams with GM's considered to be top 10 did barely any business.

Seems like an over reaction.

Why can't they still get Hendrickson?

It’s your right to continue to fool yourself. This is what the Cardinals are. It’s been this way forever.

Overreaction? Okay. But I’m not sitting here and continue to believe things are going to change. The media spent 2 minutes on the Cardinals. You know why? Because we made one move. One. Until the colossal signing of Gaithers. WOW!

Ron in OC said why can’t we still sign Hendrickson? Because we won’t. We are the most passive franchise in the NFL even with all the so called cap space we have.

So let’s move forward, and as predicted by many, we will sign a slew of 2nd tier free agents. Guys that played 9 games last year coming of the bench. We will once again put all our eggs in draft picks because that’s to way to build “sustainability”.

The Bears won 5 games last year. They replaced 60% of their offensive line. Will it all work out? Probably not. But they are going all out for their fans.

But we want sustainability. Build through the draft. Okay. How did last years picks work out. We are PRAYING our top two picks blossoms this year. Guess what? Half of this years draft picks won’t work out and won’t really be ready until 2026.

Sustainability? The way this team does things we’ve sustained losing seasons year after year.

Go ahead and fool yourself. We’ll wave a flag and shoot up a flare when we resign Hernandez. The next Balal Nichols is right around the corner.

So should everyone else. We are simply programmed to accept mediocrity. We continue to accept this passive franchise. We continue to accept “sustained” losing seasons. We continue to be happy to be a nag in this horse race.

Naysayers gonna Nay and Cheerleaders gonna Cheer. Two seasons of 4 wins, then 8 wins. Either the franchise is moving in the right direction, or it isn't. We'll know more in about 8 months. Patience, grasshopper.

lol…. Patience. This franchise has plenty of that. The Cardinals don’t have to win. They will make gobs of money whether they make the playoffs or win 2 games next year. This league doesn’t punish losers. It rewards them.

Patience. Cardinal fans have WAY too much of that.

Agreed. How could anyone say the Cardinal approach is the right way. Look at New England yesterday. Are we saying they are a poorly run organization? Hell no, they do what they need to do.

We have no idea if they are a poorly run organization or not regardless of yesterday… They’re already on their second coach in two years. This isn’t the same regime that won 7 Super Bowls not the same GM or head coach.

And they could still be inept. Won’t know till we see how the “decisions” pan out. Way too early to say.

Who's fooling themselves? We've had one day of FA and signed one of the top 3 FA's. Maybe, like, wait until after the draft?

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here talked about how sucky this FA group was. Expecting the Cards to hoover up every good players seems unrealistic. There were a lot of terrible deals yesterday, I'd rather avoid them.

Why is everyone up in arms? We made a couple of deals not like they're just sitting on their hands. Nobody knows what going on behind the scenes. Could be the Natti doesn't want to move him so they're asking for the moon. Who knows, I'll just sit back and watch it unfold.
