He will improve our team the most. We can add defense next year. We are not title contenders anyways, so why not just accumulate the best talent. Big guy wise, Okur is by far the most talented. It is not even close! Sign Okur now!

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that power forward/center Mehmet Okur is likely to be the Jazz's top free agent priority this offseason.

We already have our Okur in Lampe.

Why pay someone so much for "potential"? He might never be more than what he is right now and that isn't much. You want to pay him 6M$ rising to almost 10M$ before his contract is up? I don't.

I would rather get a veteran center who knows how to play, box out, block shots and guard a center 1 on 1.

I don't listen to Gambo (I listen to 1060) but I think he's right about Suns shifting to defense now - I don't think Okur is that bad but Okur AND Nash is a bit too offense oriented. Okur would've given Suns another shooter and scorer but with Nash's passing and ability to score - I'd prefer defense. Okay I actually saw Gambo on Channel #34 say Suns are after Quentin Richardson or Hidayet Turkoglu 1 min ago...

Turkoglu makes no sense.

Richardson doesn't make sense either. Unless we are moving Eisley somehow to get some additional capspace for Adonal. ;)

Actually Richardson might be a better fit than JJ because he is a tremendous athlete and runs the court very well so it might be worth using JJ as trade bait to get rid off Eisley's contract.

Turkaglu won't happen, either will Richardson. Kobe has better chance of coming than Q!

It might be because of mention of S&T for Kobe... (Lakers might not be interested though)
