It was a great episode. Finally got some good movement in the 17 story.
It was a great episode. Finally balanced the stories well. Still, the cinematographer, or lighting supervisor, or director, or some combination, needs to be fired. Half of the time I have no idea what the characters are physically doing. You do not have to put us in near perfect darkness to show the characters are dealing with darkness.

On the darkness, I think they know that now. I saw something not long ago where they were saying that it was darker than they wanted and that they were going to correct it in the upcoming seasons. Hopefully that ends up being true.

I think it depends on the LCD TV you have. I haven't been having a hard time seeing stuff, and my eyes aren't at their best.

It's not the TV. I have a great TV, and I also have watched on my laptop and phone, and have done my best at times to optimize viewing (like without glare). No joy.

Yeah, this isn't a display issue. I'm watching on a calibrated projector and it has issues. It's not as bad as GoT The Long Night but they definitely made it a bit too dark. The creators have acknowledged it.

I haven't been having an issue. Like I said, I don't have the sharpest eyes either. I was reading online people talking about it, and I was wondering if it's the way I calibrated my TV or something?

I have an 15 years old 42" inches TV and doesn't look too dark on mine. But I read that with the HDR tv it can become dark. I don't know how you do it but apparently you you select the SDR feed doesn't look as dark.
