Hi all,

I'm a Raider fan (not one of the face-painting lunatics!) who happens to be going to Sedona for the weekend, by coincidence the same time when the Raiders are in AZ.

I understand you guys have problems with blacked out games too. I know all about that, we Raider fans get them all the time in the Bay Area, so I can sympathize with you guys.

So I was wondering if any of you knows whether the games are televised in Sedona (or Flagstaff?) when they are blacked out in Phoenix?

Seems like Sedona is far enough away to be unaffected by the blackout rule, but on the other hand, Flagstaff doesn't appear to have local CBS (or Fox, but I think it should be on CBS) affiliate so I suspect Flagstaff & Sedona proabably pick up the Phoenix CBS affiliate.

Anyway, thanks for your help. I'd say "good luck on Sunday" but I wouldn't mean it! :)

Cheers,
-PM

Lol. I have painted my face. Not sure but we should have the ticket sales for a home opener that will prevent the black out.

I don't believe the Cardinals have had a game blacked out since moving into UOP Stadium back in 2006.

wow, that's great... I had no idea you've been blackout-free since the new digs.

I have a feeling that 8 years of suck is too much to be erased by us getting a new stadium.

Many thanks for the replies.

Yea, it isn't blacking out. Too bad you aren't going to the game..you seem like an opposing fan that isn't obnoxious.

In the pre-UoP era when games were blacked out, I couldn't get the games down in Tucson, even at bars with Direct TV. Does Direct TV now have blacked out games?

P.S. not trying to be a smartass, asking a legit question

Yeah wait until Sunday when he has a few brewski's & fellow lunatics around him. I would say all Raiders fans this day & age are the same.
