Simeon can still do one thing well according to Sports Center and that is rush the passer. Would make a decent 3rd down pass rusher. I think the Eagles or someone has been courinting him.

Just because you have Rice in there, it doesn't mean the opponent will oblige and run a pass play. They could easily run right at Rice and have a big gain. If you are looking to pay out the kind of money that Rice will demand, then make a trade and get a player that can fill more of your needs. This is the one area that the Cards failed miserably in upgrading during the offseason.

Actors (professional liars), pro athletes, pop singers all seem to be the ones that our society pays the most attention to and these are the people with the less amount of intelligence out of the population. Rice's job is to play football, I could care less what he has to say about anything as long as he would provide a pass rush. The only opinion on Tillman that matter to me in the end is my own and that was he was one hell of a man with principles who probably was a lot smarter than Rice on various levels on what was important.
