We were in the Super Bowl. After all of that time to ponder, think and reflect,

how do you feel now?

have we improved our team?

were both of Santonio Holmes' feet down at the same time as when he had possession of the ball?

do you still get goosebumps?

Depends if I'm thinking about the Super Bowl. Still makes me sick to my stomach. It's too early to say if we're better. Offensively, it's hard to imagine us being better (in terms of yards and scoring, not running the ball). Defensively there's lots of room to improve, so we'll see. Also, last year we had no significant injuries (except for Boldin who only missed a couple of games). Probably not going to be that lucky again. Last year our record in the regular season was decent. I wouldn't be surprised if we go 10-6 this year and get another home playoff game. After that, who knows.

A poll on ESPN (from fans) had San Francisco and Seattle as the 2 most improved teams.....or something along those lines.

I think we are improved if for no other reason than familiararity with the system. This team knows what to expect in practice. They know what to expect on game day. They have learned what it takes to win and become Champions and they also know that Whiz won't settle for anything less than their best effort. Remember practice on Christmas day last year?

Injuries can ruin any season. But that is something we as a team can't control.

Not sure we improved our front 7 that much on defense... If Watson is healthy and Branch plays like he should, and if our 2 draft picks Brown and Davis surprise early, we will be alright. Our schemes will be excellent. I'm very confident in Bill Davis. So the defense is what worries me...

his feet weren't down. and the last fumble was not a fumble. I will never be able to get over that, especially after seeing the last play of the 1st half of the Pro Bowl.

that being said, I think this team got better and will have a bit of a swag, but not overconfidence. I'm really excited for what this team is going to do to the 49ers week 1.

I can watch it up until the end of the third quarter. Then I know what is coming and have to turn it off....

His feet were down, I can find the picture if you want. We will never know what could have happened on a hail mary though, i know that we would have at least had a shot at it.
