Unfortunately I agree.Well, that is a fascinating development that likely won't affect us at all.
Fultz, Ball, Jackson, as planned.
Ainge is really good at trades. He is not so good at drafting. He has made 22 picks for the celtics so far. Not one all-star appearance in the bunch.
Man...i hope you're right.I am still convinced the celtics really like Tatum--which would leave Jackson at 4.
If they want Jackson they have to work a deal with LA. Boston had no interest in ball. If LA wants either ball or Jackson they can draft Jackson ...let Boston take whoever they take and let the suns take ball and make the swap. If the suns want ball then no deal needed.
Either player works for me as well as the idea of fox. He may end up being the best in the whole draft.
I know your joking but LeBron would retire before he plays for the Celtics. Just way too much of a rivalry between them.Danny Ainge has so many first round picks it's ridiculous. I wonder if he places a call to Cleveland and offers them all for Lebron.
Jimmy Butler has got to be a strong possibility.
This isn't true. Just off the top of my head, Rajon Rondo has made the All Star team a couple of times. Al Jefferson has made an All Star too I believe.I am still convinced the celtics really like Tatum--which would leave Jackson at 4.
The Celts are looking for another alpha player.
Btw. Ainge is really good at trades. He is not so good at drafting. He has made 22 picks for the celtics so far. Not one all-star appearance in the bunch.
Time to bring in help, Danny?
Who was the last Suns all star drafted by Phoenix? Nash?
blah... The way this worked out blows. (On this end of the timeline atleast.) Hopefully it all works out awesome for the Suns somehow in the long run and we'll all say; "Thank God we didn't pick #2 in that draft or we wouldn't have gotten......."
Yeah but Ainge told the Suns to chose Rondo for the Celtics so that's still his pick. Semantics doesn't really play into that. Anytime a team drafts a player and immediately trades them to another team, that means the other team made the selection after being told who to draft for the team trading. (Think, Pacers drafting Kawhi and trading him to Spurs).Rondo was technically drafted by Phoenix. Jefferson never made an All-Star team.
