This clarification is actually encouraging. I thought that the trade may have set the market too high for a possible trade up with LA. Philly essentially gave up the #3 and another protected 1st rounder not two.

I have no idea what will happen on draft day. It's starting to feel like a circus and I just hope the suns don't get clowned. Part of me is feeling like it's bye bye Jackson. I read somewhere a day ago that Fox prefers the Kings too....

Man...i hope you're right.
It's still Jackson or Fox i want to see in a Suns uniform.

IMO Ball will be just another fun to watch Suns icon who's strengths will be nerfed in the postseason and Tatum will do absolutely zero to help move the needle towards the ultimate goal here.

I think i'd rather take a flyer on Isaac at #4 over Ball/Tatum.

This isn't true. Just off the top of my head, Rajon Rondo has made the All Star team a couple of times. Al Jefferson has made an All Star too I believe.

There may be others I'm not remembering at the moment as well.

I am pretty sure it was Amare. Nash, Marion, and Amare are the only ones I can think off. Rondo was technically drafted by Phoenix too.

Yeah but Ainge told the Suns to chose Rondo for the Celtics so that's still his pick. Semantics doesn't really play into that. Anytime a team drafts a player and immediately trades them to another team, that means the other team made the selection after being told who to draft for the team trading. (Think, Pacers drafting Kawhi and trading him to Spurs).

And you're right Jefferson never made an All Star team but he was on an All NBA team or two which is certainly more meaningful than the All Star team which is a popularity contest.
