Man...i hope you're right.
It's still Jackson or Fox i want to see in a Suns uniform.

IMO Ball will be just another fun to watch Suns icon who's strengths will be nerfed in the postseason and Tatum will do absolutely zero to help move the needle towards the ultimate goal here.

I think i'd rather take a flyer on Isaac at #4 over Ball/Tatum.

I hope I am wrong, but the more I watch Isaac, the more he looks like Earl Clark to me.

I really like the length of Isaac. He should be able to play both forward positions and maybe some center down the road. Isaac should be able to fall back on his defensive ability if nothing else. However, Isaac should be able to score as well as he has nice form on his jump shot and shoots FTs well. This should project to the NBA.

Isaac will not be playing Center at all. I could see him playing more SG than C. He only has good def from help def, like Chriss. 1:1 D needs work.

I still think he might be my pick at #4 if Jackson is off the board

Yeah just give us Fox already...good enough. Ball...good enough. Jackson ...yup!
I really think Jackson goes 2, Kings move to 3 and take Fox and that leaves Suns Ball or Tatum. Suns go ball or would they go Tatum?

You may be right but in today's small-ball lineups, who knows.

Every time I read how Draft Express describes him, I salivate. He looks to be a versatile player who can play multiple positions.

I'd like for the Suns to have this decision to make.

Tatum might be this year's Devin Booker. He has a definable NBA skill and was the most solid choice at the time. No one really thought of Booker as a high risk/reward pick. He was a safe pick. Sometimes safe picks surprise.

This would be depressing. I'm already pissed that we STILL are cursed in the lottery, but if the two top prospects go before us I'm gonna throw up (Fox and Jackson). I had hope that one would slide to us.

I wouldn't take Tatum or Ball at #4.

If I evenly slightly suspected this would happen I'd consider trading up to #2.

The only player I would consider trading up to #2 would be Ball. However, I'm not wanting to do business with the Lakers. Otherwise I let the players come to the Suns and consider trade-down scenarios.

I'm leaning Isaac now.

I keep thinking the Suns are going to do a trade in this draft and it messes with my thinking. :)

Isaac at #5 or #6 would be sweet in a trade-down.

Over Jackson?

DraftExpress still has Jackson going #4.

I'd still have to go with Jackson but my hopes aren't real high on us getting him... probably something 50/50 or less.

Isaac may turn out to be the better player but there is more gamble there. If we don't get Jackson then Isaac is the one I want.

Fox is real good but not sure if he wants to be here or how he fits here.

I'm actually puzzled by this and I'm a huge Josh Jackson fan. Boston needs scorers, they have lots of good defenders, they're not playing him at guard so he's a 3 or a 4 when they go small so they're drafting him for defense and versatility over taking Fultz for offense. Makes me wonder did they like Jackson that much or not like Fultz that much?

Kind of makes me think of Tatum for Boston.

Yeah I been reading everything I can, Jackson stock seems to be rising, alot teams want Jackson and alot of teams have Fox over Ball as well. I really see Jackson going at 2. Celtics worrking out Dennis Smith, The Kings want Fox and will use 5 and 10 to move up. So the Celtics are preparing for another swap, especially when Jackson gets taken at 3. Fox like Sac and Sac wants Fox, so I easily ser that 5 and 10 for 3 being made. Ball cant run the pick and roll, make his own shot or go right, not to mention his choke job and Father, he has to be in a uptempo offense that stretches the Court. So I could see him falling even to 5 say the Suns go Tatum or Isaac.

1- Sixers - Fultz

2 Lakers - Jackson or a team that moves up to take Jackson, Jackson stock rising

3 Celtics Fox.......trade down to Kings for 5 and 10. I dont see the chaos teams wanting Ball or his Loudmouth Dad and they want Fox bad, also Celtics are scouting Dennis Smith prepping for a trade down

4 leaves Suns Ball, Tatum and Isaac. Does UCLA and Sarver make Splash Brother 2.0 with Ball or they go Tatum

or say Kings dont move up and Ball goes at 3, id be happy to trade 4 for 5 and 10 to the Kings so they get Fox. I dont see anything sayung Suns want Fox

Heh, I was just reading this article:

Of course, Wroten’s raw skills and questionable coachability made his stay a short one. He played only 35 games as a rookie and was so bad the following summer that the Grizzlies cut bait. Green, by contrast, is a two-time All-Star who has emerged as one of the NBA’s most well-rounded players for the current champion Golden State Warriors.

As with the O.J. Mayo-Kevin Love decision a few years earlier, the Grizzlies bypassed “safe” in pursuit of a star, only to find that what had been considered merely safe would have actually yielded a star. These decision points often flip the other way. As Chuck Berry once sang, "it goes to show you never can tell."

A good reason for teams to go BPA and not get cute. From this perspective, Tatum appears to be a safe pick.

I think Fultz makes total sense for PHI, they need a shooter so teams don't collapse the paint on Embiid & Simmons. Fox wouldn't have helped in that regard and Smith Jr would have been considered a reach at #3.
