Pretty sure they more than backed up any smack they talked…
But did they win?

The bottom line is that ASU’s captains put their team in an awkward position by giving Texas bulletin board material. If you’re a 14 point dog, you act with humility and quiet confidence. Not saying it was the difference in the game because Sarkesian is a terrible coach, but Cam and Leavitt simply can’t do that.

his 40 time is probably going to get scrutinized if it is slower than 4.5 because that's what people do. skattebo's height isn't a problem because he's tougher than most guys his size. He looked like Emmitt smith out there today. deuce vaughn got drafted in the fifth or sixth round by Dallas and he's much smaller in stature. Deuce was also a very productive college player, but dallas never uses him because he is way too small, cannot block, and cannot break tackles. I think skattebo can play in the NFL and would probably be the top overall RB on dallas' roster right now although dallas' RB rico dowdle has had a good year once they benched Elliott later in the year. I think third or fourth round, but I would consider taking him higher than that depending on the location.

Came damn close and it didn't hurt them.

Save your advice for your own team, did U of A win any games this year?

The captains had zero to do with the coach calling an all out blitz on 4th and 13.

All I’ll say is that ASU could not have played a better game than it did today. Kenny is a hell of a coach and a hell of a person. You needed Texas to play a lousy game and it was one play from pissing it away.

Honestly as a Texas fan the game we played today was well above our average. Ewers looking incompetent for 3+ quarters is something that happens almost every game. Our defense is elite and our offense is pray that we can lean on the run game/short passes.

serious question: why does Sark insist on Ewers over Arch?

In truth, the Sun Devils were hurt most by extended rest, easily the most serious complication in the expanded College Football Playoff. In the first three quarterfinals of the CFP, the team that hadn’t played in three-plus weeks was outscored 42-3 in the first quarter by opponents who had played in the opening round on the playoffs. Once the Sun Devils found their footing, it was a different ballgame.
