Hey, we do have the reigning 2024 IFL Champion Arizona Rattlers.
His "next big thing" moments are few and far between imo. He hasn't played a complete game this entire season and as you've said, he has the best OL in all of CFB. If you go through the game's looking for some good stats almost all of Quinn's yards will be YAC on some screens. He has days to throw and still screws it up more often than not. If pressure actually gets through, he's terrible. He is hard to evaluate because sometimes he looks like the next big thing. Then, bad throws and questionable decisions make you go "woah". Plus, he is surrounded by arguably the most completely talented offense in CFB. An offensive line with 5 NFL players, great WRs and TEs, great RBs. He won't have that dominance in the NFL.
He will be interesting to watch.
Or like going up 2-0 in the NBA finals only to lose 4 straight to end the series.
Arizona sports, catch it, like a disease.
You all had 510 total yards. Tyson is good, but doesn't have a fraction of the value that Skat has for your offense.Just be thankful Jordyn Tyson didn't play.
A "fraction?" Seriously? Tyson is literally the only WR who could be consistently relied upon to get open and to catch virtually every ball tossed his way. He is our only WR who was consistently able to exploit the middle of the field. And he was our only WR who could be counted on to high-point the ball and come down with contested throws...all the time. You all had 510 total yards. Tyson is good, but doesn't have a fraction of the value that Skat has for your offense.
A box is more than a grain, so thanks?TJ is an unapologetic U of A honk - take his input with a box of salt.
The amount of salt in the idiom should be compared to the amount of doubt. The more that you increase the volume of salt, the more severe the invalidation.A box is more than a grain, so thanks?
The reason people say "grain" and not "box" is because of the insignificant value and amount of the substance. Why do you think people dont say "mountain" or "truck load?" I was joking in my response, but leave it to you to take things way too seriouslyThe amount of salt in the idiom should be compared to the amount of doubt. The more that you increase the volume of salt, the more severe the invalidation.
(I thought that would be fairly obvious, but glad to help a grad from down south!)
Nah, I'll say take that with a rock of salt when it is something absolutely ridiculous. The reason people say "grain" and not "box" is because of the insignificant value and amount of the substance. Why do you think people dont say "mountain" or "truck load?" I was joking in my response, but leave it to you to take things way too seriously
2:37 BIMOr being up 23-20 in the Super Bowl with 2:39 min to go
You’re right. Cardinals are just the Yankees to me lol2:37 BIM
And you call yourself a fan?
Yeah but y’all have the best (neutral) World Series championship of my lifetime over the Yankees. Something I’ll never forget and I’m not a fan of the d-backs.Don’t forget about being up two runs in game one on the road in the World Series and Cory Seager hitting one about seven hundred feet.
AZ sports are cursed
Man did this age poorly. His big moment was squashed once he opened his mouth pregame..
Tell me you don’t know skattebo without telling me you don’t know Skattebo. It’s who he’s been his whole life.Turned it on in the 3rd. Thats nice. It's still stupid to be running your mouth before the game.
And then they forgot about him in the second half? This post is just doubling down on a dumb comment with more dumb comments.Ok. Excuses. Sure, that definitely plays a part. But they shut his ass out in the first half. You could see the energy that line played with against him.
Your bias is showing. If a guy that finished 5th in heisman voting, who put up a crazy season like he did, performed at the level he just did against that texas talent most people would just say “yeah, I might be wrong.”Heroic performance, but I’m still not a believer in his professional future.
Replacing Skattebo will be incredibly difficult. The back from army was a nice get, but no Skattebo. It will be Leavitt a club. Getting Jordan back will be big but other receivers better be ready.Dillingham might take this team next year to a national title.
Ouchie, he played at the professional level, yet?Your bias is showing. If a guy that finished 5th in heisman voting, who put up a crazy season like he did, performed at the level he just did against that texas talent most people would just say “yeah, I might be wrong.”
This was a big underdog asu team. Biggest dog of the playoffs, right? I have no problem with Kam and Sam Running their mouths (remember Leavitt did it too). This young, come from nowhere, asu club has been hearing how they didn’t belong since they made the playoffs, even before. If they needed that bravado to get past the magnitude of the game, so be it. If you’re telling me five star players in texas needed extra motivation in the playoff quarterfinals I’m going to laugh at your take.Became godly second half. Amazing. Look, I love the dude and the way he plays. Going all the way back to the beginning of last season. You just knew he had "it". Yet, running your mouth and giving bulletin board material in a game this size and that type of defense is and remains stupid IMO. Own it and move on. It was stupid and he still played like a stud. Both things can be true. Also, maybe it did impact the first half enough to fire up that defense. That's potential points. Thats enough for it to be stupid. All that being said... Amazing performance and game.
I believe the opposite. If you’re 14 point dogs you better show up with a chip in your shoukder and not just happy yo be there. You show up happy to be there and you go out like simps like Tommy Lloyd ncaa tourney teams. But did they win?
The bottom line is that ASU’s captains put their team in an awkward position by giving Texas bulletin board material. If you’re a 14 point dog, you act with humility and quiet confidence. Not saying it was the difference in the game because Sarkesian is a terrible coach, but Cam and Leavitt simply can’t do that.
Yup. That call lost the game. Hated it at the time. Was yelling “don’t sell out!”The captains had zero to do with the coach calling an all out blitz on 4th and 13.
