We're obviously a mess any way you look at it. DA is a trainwreck, always has been & always will be. Hall may be intelligent, but he's wound way too tight to be a successful NFL QB. Do we know enough about Skelton to even make a judgment? Absolutely not. Unless we pass protect (which we can't), he'll struggle in the pocket. Unless our D plays flawless (which it can't), we're in for an ugly finish to this season. In today's NFL, unless you have a D like the Ravens of 2000, you CANNOT win without a QB. We need to bunker down, play everything vanilla, & try to win ugly games. If the ball bounces our way, we could get to 8-8. Otherwise, we're looking at 6-10, maybe worse.

I'm just not sure I'll be able to move to the 'laughing stage' which I used to do in years when the Cards were just plain bad.

I hate to say it, but I've become bitter this year over the whole mess. I'm sure I'll get over it, just not today.

I'd start Skelton next week.

Max has proven not to be good.

DA has proven to be what he is.

Skelton is all that's left in the well.

It's such a shame, too. The Cardinals got themselves here by the mismanagement of Leinart. Say what you want about Leinart going to the media to voice his displeasure, but it was a corner he was pushed into. Yes, he had other choices, but from start to finish this offseason, Whiz and the Cardinals messed with him. Such a shame: we could have walked away with the division, and had a real shot at returning to the SB with just mediocre play at the QB position.

\I'm with YeahBut this morning; I'm pretty bitter about it. It's one thing when the whole team is such a mess that it's difficult to point at what's going wrong, but this is a decent team playing without a QB.

Well all I hope for is that the Hall experiment is over. He is not an NFL QB plain and simple. Besides the 2 INTs he did throw there were a couple of others that would have been INTs if he hadn't thrown the ball so poorly so no one could catch it.

The truth is Scud is our best hope and that is not saying much however I would not mind seeing what Skelton has to offer and see if indeed he has some upside or is it more smoke from Whiz for blowing up our collective @ss.

We all know DA and Hall are not getting it done. It's mid-season, why not start our most talented QB for the rest of the year and get him some reps and see how he does. There's no way Whis can be dumb enough to bring back DA next year so at the very least we need a backup QB for next year if we are able to find a decent starter.

The only way I'd go to Skelton is if both DA and Hall were hurt, and even then I wouldn't be so sure.

Whis doesn't have a ton of patience with QBs. Especially young QBs. Pulling them in and out of the lineup can't be good for their confidence or development. There's no reason to ruin the psyche of another possible QBOF.

I actually kind of agree with starting Skelton sometime soon. Worst case scenario he is as bad as what we've had already. The only legitimate reason to not start him is if Whiz thinks that it will ruin Skelton's confidence to get destroyed right now, ruining his chances of ever developing.
