At his Pro Day workout, Vick ran the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds; his time has been clocked as low as 4.25, which is the fastest-ever for an NFL quarterback.

Yep there is no way in hell Kyler Murray is going to equal that

Of course the Redskins are interested. They’re looking to steal him. Look at the other teams that have been linked to him and tell me he sucks and nobody will want him. And you can say what you want about the Redskins but the only mistake they made with Cousins was not drafting a successor. They were smart enough to know he wasn’t worth the long term deal.

OK then, what do you think his speed is?

I don’t know exactly that… But I’m damn sure 100% positive it won’t be Michael Vick speed.

I said similar, not equal. He is quite a bit faster than guys like Russell Wilson or Johnny Manziel.

Yes, Johnny is the best comparison. That is why Kliff wanted Kyler in the first place out of high school. But Kyler is faster with a bigger arm and zero baggage. He is a better pro prospect than Manziel as a result of all those things.

Zero baggage? How about that 8 letter word...BASEBALL! That will be over the head of whatever team drafts him for 5-8 years, minimum.

Yes, that's fair. And his dad has a helicopter parent reputation. But I meant drug/party baggage compared to Manziel. That's more serious than the other stuff IMHO.

As it should be... he’s a young kid whose mind changes with the wind And couldn’t fully commit to football until two weeks ago… At the first hint of any adversity he can up and bolt to baseball...

Except if he's drafted #1, he is guaranteed $32m if he sticks around. He can't just quit on them and still get that money. In baseball it would take him a lot longer to get that kind of money.

Yup...I said it weeks ago...Murray is just one legit NFL hit away from playing 2nd base.

Doesn’t matter as the #1 pick as soon as he signs he is set for life if he’s smart.

True, believe Baker got over $20m on the signing bonus. But I would think there is language in the contract to protect the team from a guy signing for that amount of money and then quitting a few months later.

Article on NFL website below questions whether Rosen is worth more than a 3rd round pick. Doesn't make sense for the Cardinals to do a 3rd round deal for Rosen. They gave up 2 extra picks to get him in the first place and they would face a $8m cap hit if they trade him.

Bet, if asked, they would have said the same about Goff after year one.

Save Mayfield, did any of the top 10 QB's live up to their draft status in year one?

Arguably, no.... so, should they all be looking for new guys at the helm?

I know he gets a lot of crap but Buffalo fans are really excited about Josh Allen. The numbers won’t show it but he got the team playing hard. He finished with two 4th quarter comebacks and three game-winning drives. Would’ve been four if Charles Clay doesn’t drop a wide open touchdown in the end zone @ Miami.

Sam Darnold also finished the season strong by throwing for 6 TDs and 1 Int in 4 December games.

Before are ianswer that are you trying to say that he is based off his on eyear of college succuess?

One year of college success doesn't make you a guaranteed NFL prospect that is worthy of being compared to a SB winner and perennial NFL pro Bowl level QB.

%'s say that he is far more likely to fail then be a Russel Wilson. The NFL as a whole has shown that typically shorter QBs aren't successful.

Again not buying into his phony weigh in numbers where it has been speculated that he did all he could to inflate the number prior to weigh in. Thus the agent not being comfortable with him performing his drills at that weight. Afraid his stock would plummet.

You guys wanna proclaim him the next Wilson more power to you and good luck to ya.
Trubisky killed that argument last year.

1 out of 1000 didn’t kill an argument. And many on here somehow think Trubisky sucks.. lol (I don’t agree)

This is such garbage... Kurt Warner is petty, and the "notorious" GM... If he already has a QB of course he will say maybe a 3... But, for a team that needs a QB, you would offer significantly more...

Further more Ian Rapport who is more connected than retired Peter King, noted Tyrod freaking Taylor went for a 3rd last year and Rosen would fetch "significantly more"

This is lazy reporting by King plain and simple..

I think the Cardinals broke some kind of record at the end of the season of like having 7 rookies playing at one time on offense and majority of them rookies where not high picks or even acquired in the draft. Then you have a rookie OC forced to play with the fired OC's playbook. Really, once Kirk was out of the lineup you could tell and all the teams had to do was cover Fitz because the coaches still did not understand that DJ could catch and when they intended to use him it was obvious to switch coverage

Lol and Mahomes killed the arguement about Air RAID QB’s are destined to fail. This is a new era. All it takes is one.
