Observations....
1 - This is always going to begin and end with Isaiah Simmons. It is shameful that this org has handled him so poorly and have not learned from their previous mistakes with other "hybrid" players. 10 snaps is a joke. Pre-draft the only concern with Simmons was that he didn't have a position and it would take a creative DC to make him work...we are seeing we don't have that creative DC.

2 - Murphy is getting a lot of run and not just in the slot. I am all for getting young players reps and dealing with the learning curve so I don't hate this.

3 - I am interested to see what the Cardinals like so much about Keesean Johnson. I was shocked that I saw him out there 20 more snaps than Isabella. That said, it might be because they had Fitzgerald inside so much and Isabella can't play outside.

4 - They did the G swap which is interesting but I imagine Kugler signs off on it so I am good.

5 - Daniels getting more run than Arnold is interesting. Something to watch as the season moves forward. Arnold seems to make a lot of mistakes but that is just my observation.

6 - We will need to add a S because if Baker is out, that unit is worst in the NFL IMO.

Two more observations

What happened to Pugh? I didn't hear it mentioned that he went off

And what happened to the Dan Arnold hive? I thought he was going to be our secret weapon? So far in 3 games he has 5 catches for 58 yards.

Pugh and Sweezy just got rotated similar to what the Cards did with Cole at G last year.

Yeah...Arnold has been far from the secret weapon. I thought they would use him more as a WR to get a size/speed mismatch on the field.

But why did Pugh get less snaps than Sweezy considering Sweezy has been trash?

Chandler Jones his currently PFF's 82nd ranked DE out of 109. His worse start ever to a season :(

The odd thing is KJ and KM seem to have a lot of rapport. KJ seems to get open a lot but the catches aren’t there. The problem is Murray is inaccurate with his throws to him almost every time. That is very unhelpful with KJ because he has proven if the ball is not thrown perfectly he cannot make the tough catch. I assign 75% of the blame to the QB. KJ is skillet hands part deux without the wasted high draft spot...

We need to move Fitz back outside IMO. Get KJ off the field, and get Andy in the slot with Kirk if this is going to be how it goes.

Another issue with KeeSean Johnson is that he is another player who scouts doubted could play outside.

I don't get the Keesean hate. He had one tough catch in the first half he should have grabbed. Otherwise did what was asked of him. Not his fault really.

The way we use tigh ends he is too light to play the role in Arizona, where basically the tigh ends are blockers
I liked what I saw from Daniels yesterday
Some good blocks, pancake I think
A reception where he did sprint for the first down
Unfortunately we don't use tigh end enough

The KJ issue seems more timing than inaccuracy.

First pass to him seemed high, but on replay looked as though Kyler expected him to keep it skinny (to catch and run)

Another pass is where KJ got open quickly/Kyler was late. So it looked as though Kyler through the out so KJ can run to a spot..he didnt.

Bottom line. The guy who was gone for 2 weeks shouldnt be getting that much reps. Timing is off.

And neither can Keesean.

He's a possession receiver, who can't possess!
