I have a lot of memories from that place and it's kinda sad. It has felt like home for so many years...

Most of the memories were bad, but it's all history to me as a fan. From the uncomfortable moments shared between drunken fans in the mens bathrooms because of some feat of architechtural genius that had us all face each other while we urinated..... to the feeling of sticking it to visiting fans who came to watch their teams.

To feeling completely drained and tired after baking in the hot sun on metal benches on clear blue days in November. To the constant parade of star players that I got to see up close and personal and shout derogitory things at them

The place was a ********, but it was home for a lot of years. I hope you will join me as I try to steal a metal bench to bring home one last time at a Cardinals game at SDS

I will not miss that s**thole. In fact, I'm not going tomorrow due to Christmas Eve and I'm glad to never return.

By the way, good luck in stealing that bench!!

I am kind of sad for the great times we have had over the past 3 years of being a season ticket holder.

But as the song goes....the best is yet to come...

and you guys think leaving SDS will do anything for the team? Should it, yes. Will it, probably not. SDS was never designed to be a Pro Stadium. It is a good College stadium. If you disagree, go down to Tucson and see that S&^thole.

EDIT: I meant to put in here that it will be much nicer for the fans so I look forward to that.

I tend to think of SDS like your first house or the first shitbox car you own. Yeah it sucks, but it holds a special place in your heart

No, not at all, and in no way shape or form will Sun Devil Stadium be missed by the Cardinal Fans.

Now mind you I am also a ASU fan, so if they were to tear down Sun Devil Stadium for the ASU Football program that sentimate for the College team would be totally different, then yes I will miss it in that instance.

But as a professional stadium it was well below what it needed and should be. It was suppose to be a temporary stop gap (3-4 years) that turned into a nightmare 18 years.

Who is in the LD jersey in the 2nd one?

Some guy who I keep seeing on the Jumbotron. So I thought I'd take his picture.

I will miss it.

I will miss the lot d parties, I am sure we will get it set up similiarly at the new stadium, but our set up now can't be beat as far as tailgating.

I will miss standing on my seat and telling the fans rooting for the other team that I didn't give a crap that they couldn't see. I won't stand on my seat in the new stadium. I will miss yelling at the pretend handicapped people every game and sitting around all the guys that became my brothers over the last 5 years.

I just hope I don't get some up-tight ******** sitting behind me at the new stadium, talking on his cell phone and telling me to sit down every game.

I will miss getting away with acting like a totally insane maniac every other Sunday. Something tells me that behavior will be frowned upon in the new stadium.

If you lived in a broken-down trailer park for 18 years and then suddenly moved into one of Donald Trump's mansions, would you miss the trailer park? I wouldn't.

I wont even think about it after I get out of there today. There are great memories of games, but nothing but bad memories of the stadium.

Happy Holidays,
