I'm securely, 100% now a darksider. Yes, that's right. A former optimist to the core...a guy who would see the light in every single bad game...I'm now darkside.

This team sucks. it has no heart. the kicker sucks SOOOOO hard. Cut rackers Now. a 30 yarder? Are you kidding me? Seriously!!! A thirty yarder. I KICK THIRTY FRICKING YARDERS!!!! SIGN ME!!! I WILL WIN GAMES FOR YOU AGAINST THE WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE!!!!! OMG

I hate my former self for having faith in this team. I hate that I thought they turned a corner vs. the Bengals.

Why am I now a darksider?

We were at home

We had a loud crowd, although I had to yell and flip off section 116 to get on their feet in the third quarter. But overall the crowd was WAY into it.

We got dominated by a BAD offense. Dominated. Owned.

in the late stages of the game we failed to get first downs...then we scored and FAILED to stop them from scoring.

We punted like crap...HORRID....crap.

We had to kick a flipping fg to get to OT. At this point...I was done with t he team. OT against this Niner squad with the history of the season at home with the ramifications of the game at hand???????? How the hell did it get to this point?????

So, we actually get a shot to win...a game that would have been a steal since we were DOMINATED BY THE WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE anyway...and we can't freaking call a timeout to stop a penalty??????????????? Then have to kick five more yards out for a 32 yarder???? AND EFFING MISS IT???????????????? A 32 yard FG????????

OMG.

I think we lose out. We can't beat the Browns...they kill us. We may beat atlanta. Seattle beats us. So does NO at home. The only hope we have now is beating STL but they will probably win just to beat us.

So, I now think we finish....oh....5-11 and I'm being generous...if we could lose a game we've already won I'd add that in.

I've NEVER been so disgusted to be a Cardinal fan in my entire life. NEVER. This is rock bottom people...just horrible.

Welcome aboard :(. I think I too have bee sucked into the dark mass. I cannot accept a loss to the 49ers. I really can't. I would nail my hand to my desk if it would take my mind of this loss. I don't think we lose out, but this team is done. There is no way anyone comes to play from her on out. I think we stumble into a win somewhere.

I think you stepped up in the clutch there D-dogg...well done....but you want to be sure to rip the Qb and coaching staff in at least subsquent paragraphs so as not to allow for any other viewpoints to get thru and then just hammer home that all is lost in a nasaly voice....at least that drowns out the other patrons in the bar.

Everyone was already so numb to begin with. I do like the state of comic euphoria like the other poster said. What is also weird is I really felt a loss to the Lions three weeks ago, but it did not happen.

Doanld, I'm going to help you here. Step away from the ledge . Come in and talk.
We can bash Warner, the defense, the coaching , Breaston, Patrick, Boldin, and the refs for not giving us our TO back on the play they reviewed.
In spite of all that all we needed to do was kick what was a little more than an extra point. In fact , if we had a reliable kicker, we would be 7-4 right now and the world would be all right.
Give any coach or any team a chance to win the game with a 35 yd field goal and they would jump at it.
When the pain subsides we will realize all with this team is not bad, if we just had a reliable kicker.

I'm beyond numb. I've been numb after games many a time. This is not numb.

This is cutting to my soul. I no longer have any happy thoughts when the cardinals are on my mind.

Red is quickly becoming akin to the color of vomit.

If there was ever a picture-perfect, Websters illustration of the disease that is known as Acute, Cardinal-Psychosis, this post is it!
Yes, Rackers has hurt us this year. But if you think this team "is not bad" and that we simply need a reliable kicker, well my friend, it is really you who needs to seek professional help - NOW!

Are you supposed to be comforting me right now, or rubbing it in? Really? A kicker? A KICKER!!!!!! We lose because our kicker sucks? WHY THE HELL DID THE FREAKING GAME AGAINST THE 2-8 NINERS COME DOWN TO OUR KICKER???????

Do you really think that good teams never win games they shouldn't win. How about Dallas vs Buffalo when Romo threw 5 picks? It was without a doubt there worse played game to date.
Yet they had a fg kicker who not only kicked a 52 yarder to win the game, HE DID IT TWICE!
Rackers missed a chip shot that would have put us at 6-5. Remember the Redskin game? Everyone remembers he missed a 55 yarder for the win, BUT IF HE DIDN"T MISS AN EXTRA POINT we wouldn't have been forced to go for 2 on our last td.
Our kicking game could have won both of those games and we would be looking at a 7-4 team. The pundits as well as you would be talking about who we were going to be playing in the playoffs.
This is a team sport where players pick each other up. Players are going to make mistakes and when they do it's up to the other players to pick them up.
One of the key players that can "cover your back" is your kicker. Obviously, we can no longer count on him to do that.
If you are expecting this team or any team (except the Patriots) to play 60 minutes of flawless football for 16 weeks, YOU are sadly mistaken.
This team has many flaws and may not be a playoff caliber team, but they fought tooth and nail the whole game inspite of all their mistakes and had the victory in their collective hand. I have seen Cardinal teams lose games like this 38-10.
A missed chip shot should not stop us from seeing some of the good things this team has accomplished to this point.

Dude - seriously... Get help. Do it man...

I'm certain letting some dude named Dilfer impersonate Brady had nothing to do with the loss, did it? Or Gore running through us as if we were swiss cheese? Or Willis impersonating Lawrence Taylor - only better? Or our running game not producing 100 yards again - how many weeks in a row is that now?? Or Barr - who could be the worst NFL player, forget about Punter, I have ever seen on an NFL field?? The 10 penalties to the 9ers 3??

Really - go see a professional - soon!!

Ahhhh! So many things wrong, so many things to change. So many things will be ignored. We have to make a statement. A change. Cut Rackers, Fire whosits, nothing will change. Its the same story with different players. We are stuck in a perpetual dance that will continue for ages. Something drastic needs to happen. It is not a curse its a friggin mindset. Get over it and sack up. We have too many players who are too accustom to losing. Cut them and end it. SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE. We are not destined to lose, we are not cursed into the craphole of sports. It is a matter of growing up as a franchise and as players. I cannot go into each and every week expecting the best anymore. I don't see how anyone can. Something has to change.

He's right though. Despite Warner and the poor special teams coverage and pitiful pass defense and the penalties and other bone headed plays all we needed to be tied for first with Seattle is for two freakin' FGs to not hook wide left.

I hope Rackers' contract is based on incentives. Every field goal made or win clutch games, he gets paid. Man this guy lost it right after he signed the extension. Pay me and I can make that FG myself.

lol.

I've literally NEVER been that pissed off about football in my entire lifre. Considering we were looking at a "turning the corner" game, against a WOEFUL opponent, that goes down as the worst loss in Arizona Cardinals history.

We'll finish 7-9, just "good enough" to barely miss the playoffs and not bad enough to get a high draft pick, which Mr. "We're Not Going To Be Active In the Offseason" would completely blow anyway.

Geez, I'm proud of you not blaming Whiz and Warner while you are at it.
I hear Bilicheck is on the hot seat. They only beat the lowly Eagles by 3 pts.

This is the same defense that set an NFL modern day record for holding a team to -18 yards a couple of weeks ago. Rolle picks 3 last week and today gives up a big play.
Teams adjust and then the opposition re-adust and so on so forth. Yes Gore had a great game. Wasn't his first and it won't be his last.
I am bitterly disappointed in todays loss. The team has shown glimpes of potential thru out this season. To totally disregard everything up to this point of the season because a kicker misses a chip shot is wrong just flat out
wrong.
Warner threw 2 picks. We overcame it.
Boldin fumble. We overcame it.
Barr shanks a punt. We overcame it.
We had penalties. We overcame them.
Despite all the mistakes, mental lapses, penalties and anything else we did wrong we had a chance to overcome all of them with a 35 yd FG and we failed.
As far as needing professional help let me say I've been following this team for longer than you' have been alive. I needed help following this team a long time ago. Trust me. Professional help wouldn't do a bit of good. You will eventually underatnd that.
You just need more time. :)

Dude, you are an optimist.

We will finish 5-11, McFadden will be on the board and we will trade down to get two picks in the first and pick a NT and a WR...both of which will be reaches.

your optimism is refreshing, though. :D

How sad is this...I wanted to come in here and drop some f-bombs, get banned and relax. I don't even have the balls to do that because of some weird need to read what everyone has to say bout this team. OOOOOOOOHHHHH I HAAAAAAAAAATE being a fan of this team.

I want to cry. I really do. I want to cry like I did at my pop's funeral. This team is as hopeless as my thoughts at his funeral.

God this is terrible.

Actually this year I've decided to take time off of actually caring.

It's odd, I got some faint feelings of despair and then hope like always but very light compared to normal.

I simply don't like this team, I don't like how they play, their heart, their professionalisim, I don't like Warner or Rackers or the punter.

I like Boldin, Fitz and I like AW and I like Dansby and DD, other than that they can all go fly a kite.

I looked over at my wife after Breaston caught his 2nd punt behind the 10 and we committed like our 3rd block in the back, and said, well I hope Warner just gets sacked in the end zone and ends this tragedy, and yep there it was, but he trumped that by just laying the ball down.

That was freaking embarrassing, no attempt to throw it away just a complete choke job, hideous.

Donald, I think you have potential. I recommend you break away from the "old-school" dark side; consider the Chronicles of Riddick: You can become the UNDERLORD!
