If these tickets were returned by Miami, then why should Phoenix be blacked out? Wouldn't it mean that Phoenix made their sellout?

No doubt that will be the hardest one to sell IMO.

Have you been to a Rams game in PHX? There are two types of LA fans and yet they are both one in the same.. Rams or Raiders fans that are scum that will fill the stadium living off past LA allegiances.. From the gangbangers to the lowlife trailer trash.. Both have each equally.. They will drive from LA and have already bought their tickets when they went on sale months ago..

I cant blame anyone for not going to the games. If given the chance to be at a game or watch frommy house I prefer watching on TV better coverage on whats going on and very very comfortable.

Sounds like it's a little tougher than usual to sell NFL tickets this year. It has to be the economy.

Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio reminded fans yesterday that the team could use some help from a loud crowd; Jacksonville hasn’t sold out Sunday’s game yet. Although the Bengals’ home opener is technically considered a sellout, tickets are available online at significantly less than face value. The Dolphins are struggling to sell season tickets. The Chargers received a 24-hour extension to sell all their tickets last week, and did so only when the local FOX affiliate purchased the remainders.

I don't know - just from looking at the examples given above, you can see that there are big differences between us and all those teams - a) we have the smallest seating capacity in the league and are coming off our most promising season in years with a week 1 win as opposed to looking at the Jags, who seem to always have a problem filling up their stadium and have 10,000 more tickets to sell, the Bengals who are sliding back to jokedom, had a bad season last year and looked pathetic last week and have more tickets to sell (though only 3,000), the Dolphins who were one of the worst teams of all time last year and have 12,000 more seats to sell and the Chargers who have over 8,000 more seats to sell than we do, not to mention not having cushy digs like we do.

Cheese, one thing those teams have that we don't is some sort of a winning history. if the Cards were somewhat contenders, ever, I could see your arguement. I think the #1 reason is the economy. If anyone wants to go to the Rams game in StL tickets are all over ebay and stubhub way under face. I bought two upper level seats for $30.

The Bengals can't boast and neither can the Fins anymore and like I said, the Chargers and Jags have much larger stadiums than we do and have always had problems selling out (and SD fans are just as finicky as Phoenix fans - I know that having seen it first hand for two years when I lived there).

Sorry, we have the smallest stadium in the NFL, we're coming off our best season in a decade, opened up with an opending day road victory and we still can't sell our stadium out? That's just weak sauce.

They should have done the Dallas promotion with this game as well. 3 game packs.

The Bengals played in two Super Bowls. We played in two playoff games. Big difference.

I'm guessing they didn't think the opener woudl be an issue. Next year Green Bay is on the schedule I believe. They should lock that into a 4 game pack. But hopefully a playoff run will make this all irrelevant next year.

over two decades ago. sorry man, when you're a joke for 20 years, the above just doesn't wash as far as I'm concerned.

Shucks. A whole thread of angst, good flagellation, mea culpas and stupid predictions (like mine: no sellout) is neutered.

Reality can be good sometimes.

Problem for the Cards in the AZ are the demographics. 40% of the people in the valley are over 65 and another 40% are under 25. Just not a lot of people in the NFL's main market 25-55.

:D
