Don't give me this BS about the pitch instead of a handoff. He caught the pitch fine and had control of the ball before he fumbled. Again. For the second time in like 15 carries this season.

Too slow to run away from anyone, too small to run through anyone. And he can't even hold on to the damn ball. Next.

Agreed.. he isn't even dynamic enough to risk it.. He needs to be on the bench for awhile.. that could have been a season killer.

Pretty sure Michael was next to him at the end of the game.

Guy's not going anywhere. He'll also NEVER do that again.

That wasn't RDubs fault. Pats were coming hard that was an awful decision to do a toss sweep there. Incredibly stupid.

He is reckless with the ball, he needs to stop it especially in those situations.

If you watch Beanie at that stage of the game he'll have both arms on it the whole time, he tried to do that but it was a tad weak and a tad late.

I hope you're right, he's a good kid and it couldn't of worked out better, he gets a leason he hopefully will never forget and we win the game.

He CAN NOT EVER DO THAT AGAIN though, that was as bad as it gets, get down, do anything but what he did there.

Oh good, as long as you say he'll never do it again.

Trust me.

The kid just learned a major lesson. He's going to rock for us. I'm calling that right now.

(Those lessons are only learned in those situations. He couldn't learn this in camp or in Tempe. We're going to see unbelievable effort from him.)

It's not a bad call. You are trying to kill as much time as possible.

Terrible fumble by Williams.

As for Beanie.. he is clearly hurt or not recovered. He is running hard, but he doesn't have any burst right now.

No excuse for the fumble but I totally agree that calling a pitch in that situation is beyond stupid. Too much can go wrong, and we weren't picking up a first down anyway, no matter what. Taking a knee in that situation is better than pitching it.

That being said, aside from that play I thought Whis called a great game today. Kept them off balance all day.

Even on his earlier first down run, I thought the ball was too far away from his body.

I mentioned to my wife the exact same thing after that nice run. He was carrying that ball way too far out when he should have had it tucked in with both arms around it.

Yeah don't disagree with a run play. But maybe do a lower risk play like a regular handoff or take a freaking knee, but a toss play? That is an awful call when the entire defense is stacked in the box and blitzing.

Where was Beanie, by the way? Williams got the Cardinals a huge first down which should have been enough. Still no excuse for fumbling.

he did have like a 15 yard burst that did set him up to be called a potential failure :D

Amazing how they forget this so soon. If it hadn't been for that first down run, we wouldn't have been in position to win. Mistakes happen. Karma was with us and we won anyway. Sometimes destiny is a real bitch, but as long as she swings in your direction, you can't lose.

At that stage of the game yes, it's inexcusable no matter the call no matter what to fumble the ball, you just can't do it.

He wen't into a pile of tacklers without both arms on the ball, going in there was bad decision one, just get down, going in without firmly having both arms around the ball, completely unaccpetable.

It's a good thing the big man bailed him out on the MFG.
