A 2nd round rookie (for all intents and purposes) RB can't play as well as a top 5 RB? Wow way to go out on a ledge there bud.

I was really only trying to make the point of how tough Gore looks. If you really want me to go out on a limb... I'll say RW never gets there and will be out of the league before Gore

This thread can suck it!!! :D

I've really enjoyed your celebratory posts after this awesome win. Not sure SUCK IT is the best moto but I love your enthusiasm.

Trust me.

The kid just learned a major lesson. He's going to rock for us. I'm calling that right now.

(Those lessons are only learned in those situations. He couldn't learn this in camp or in Tempe. We're going to see unbelievable effort from him.)

:yeahthat:

C'mon, Ed. I have it on very good authority that Ryan Williams never fumbled once in his college career. ;)

Yeah. Ryan Williams isn't complete and utter garbage, he's just not very good. He's Tim Hightower. We're probably paying Ryan Williams twice what we could be paying Tim Hightower, but we also didn't get to draft an OLB because we were busy using a 2nd round pick for the same guy we used a 5th round pick on a couple years earlier.

Nice work, Cards front office. Ryan Williams was surrounded by Mark Dalton and Mike Bidwill at the end of the game. A-L-L H-Y-P-E.

Crazy speaks for me.

K-9, you're the definition I was once heard of journalists: "People who come down from the hills and shoot the wounded".

Maybe but without Beanie, we had limited options. NE is too fast on the edges for most teams to run outside and Williams is not the best choice to run up the guy. The pitch isn't all that bad of a call. NE still has a time out and anyone that doesn't think they could go the 30 or so yards they'd probably need for a FG wasn't paying attention to the Patriots TD drive. On top of that, we don't really know who made that decision.

But even if Whiz did make that call and even if it were the worst decision in the history of the game, that would not excuse Williams on that play. It was his job to hold on to the ball at all costs. He failed. I still like and believe in the kid but he needs to earn his way back out of the doghouse.

Doesn't matter what we think, that's not how the Cardinals as a team roll. Bunch of high character dudes who have each other's back, and guarantee'd they'll support Williams in the post game interviews.

RW is going to be a special running back for the Cardinals; I can stand to be very patient with him.

You on the other hand....

1-LSH, really? this is the time you decide not to bring it out?

2-Whis, Take a knee. It is called the victory formation for a reason.

3-Ryan Williams, take a break kid. He isn't seeing holes, his timing is off, and he is not playing smart. He needs to be pulled back a bit, and told to relax.

4-It is always great when learning moments like this one come and we still win. Hopefully, this isn't repeated by any of the previously mentioned parties.

okay, I guess the kid deserves another chance...

but if NE's kicker makes that 42 yarder, that would have gone down as one of the most infamous, heartbreaking fumbles in cardinals history.

And if you've been a fan of the team as long as I have, that's saying something.
