So What’s Wrong With Kyler Murray?

Agreed but we handed the ball off 3 times in the first half vs the Lions. I think the Lions were 29th in rushing defense (something like that).

Not running the ball more and of course not hitting FG's/XP's cause you to lose one like that. Easily fixable but painful.

Yep. That was the game to run the ball, soften up the defense and then hit the play action pass. Lions needed Kyler to be awful and us to not attack their weakness or counter. It went as well as they hoped.

Again.. every single bad game and loss that Kyler has had aside from the 1 Rams game - he did not have Hudson.

How is it hard to understand that these are not a coincidence? This offensive line is literally the bottom barrel of the league and arguably the worse in the league without Hudson. Couple that with not having one of the best WRs on the league and Kliffy as coach - give him a break.

You could put Mahomes on this team, a much better QB than Kyler today and I don’t believe you are having much more success based on those missing pieces and the lack of complimentary pieces. I feel this can be validated with even Mahomes lack of success in the Super Bowl after losing Fischer in the AFC ship and also their 2nd best Oline man at the time Mitchell Schwartz down the stretch… literally Mahomes looked like crap, put up 9 points and still had better active receiving weapons in the game. Also, not a coincidence they went out and upgraded their offensive line with TWO young studs in Orlando Brown via trade and Creed Humphries via draft.

Kyler is not without fault, but I don’t care how elite you are - you are not anything without an offensive line I. This league nowadays… but let’s keep tossing our franchise QB and our best chance at being relevant while not understanding the facts of what he is working with on the field.

Other great QBs do that--they don't absolutely have to be surrounded by talent. Nobody here is saying KM's a bum, but there ain't no way in hell he's "transcendent" or top 5 or anything other than an average young QB with a ton of maturing/development he needs to go through.

It probably is best to chill on this subject. Ultimately up to Kyler to show whether this is just blip or a real trend. As I've said Hudson is now back and he's got a few weeks to adjust without Hopkins. Cowboys game will tell a lot.

Its still a dip because his passing grade was about 90 when coming back. However, its never as good as it seems and its never as bad it seems. I really think its just tightening a few things up and trusting the offense (w/o Hopkins). We'll see.

You’re either part of the problem or part of the solution. At the moment Murray is part of the problem. He has the ability to flip that but he needs more skill refinement. Injuries have made this teams deficiencies more apparent. Murray has not been able to elevate his game to compensate. That doesn’t make him a loser, but he has to decide if he wants to be a good enough QB to carry his team with minimal support.
