- Took a chance on a troubled kid before any other team
- Set up a support plan and helped turn his life around
- Paid him nearly $25 mil over his tenure including an extension after two ACL tears
- Released him after offering him more to stay than what he signed with Houston for
- Never once bad mouthed him during or after his tenure here

Pro athletes are some of the most sensitive people on the planet.

Agree. World’s smallest violin for Badger. This organization took great care of him and wanted to continue to do so.

I think "entitled" fits better than "sensitive".

It was all about the request to take a pay cut. Very obvious based on the post he made. He settled for less with Houston which makes him look like a douche. His stats will be about the same as his last year with the Cardinals based on where he is at with Houston. It will be interesting what he thinks he's worth on the open market since his contract with Houston is only for one year.

I'm not sure we really know this to be fact. The contract could have been structured so that his performance earned that money, and not guaranteed. We all know agent speak when it comes to contracts, and it is not, but in rare instances true numbers.

Maybe it was because we asked him to take a paycut?
maybe that was insulting to him?

I don't understand.:help:

Then Badger is too ignorant to understand how the business side of the NFL operates, or he's overemotional. He was an average player at best last season, had two ACLs, and a history of problem behavior.

Badger can be pissy all he wants, but what happened to him would've happened to him in 31 other NFL organizations; and I doubt more than 20 of them would've managed him properly thru all of the baggage.

He should be grateful we spared him from this season.

Lotta salty exes on here looking through departed players’ Instagram accounts. You guys must love being mad.

There was an article about it on MSN. That's where I seen it first.

He served his purpose in AZ. Looks like he will make playoffs with HOU while Cards are setting up for a top 5 pick. He can talk all he wants.

K9 is right. Jilted lovers around here.

common trait among over achievers:

a sense of being dis-respected by the world accompanied by a desire to prove them wrong

It was clear in the contract he originally signed.
