I’m trying to put myself in a similar scenario. So if my employer came to me and said hey, we know we made a deal to pay you X amount, but, um that was really dumb of us to do that... we need you to take a paycut.

Meanwhile I have seen the place going to complete dog ish around me. My direct boss that I had a lot of respect for has already left, and when I say no then it’s oh well then we gotta let you go.

9 months later I’m with a considerably more successful organization albeit making a little less while the place I left has turned into an absolute dumpster fire. The guy that replaced my old boss is clueless and way in over his head. The place is hemeroging... and someone asks me if I’d consider going back.

Uh, yea I’d probably be using some much stronger words than “they did me dirty” and a crying laughing emoji.

Just sayin

Per Burns and Gambo:

Mathieu retracted the statements, and said Mathieu was just talking trash to Arizona fans at some social outing.

Mathieu said he was talking trash to "fake" AZ fans.

He went on to say has likes AZ and the Cardinals.

Take it all for what it is worth.

HB is terrible in coverage... every time I saw a deep pass completed, HB was 10-12 yards away from making a play... He's not even getting home on blitzes much anymore... He's a liability that is being somewhat hidden by JJ Watt.

Dude can't cover anyone anymore.

- Took a chance on a troubled kid before any other team
- Set up a support plan and helped turn his life around
- Paid him nearly $25 mil over his tenure including an extension after two ACL tears
- Released him after offering him more to stay than what he signed with Houston for
- Never once bad mouthed him during or after his tenure here

Pro athletes are some of the most sensitive people on the planet.
This is one of the best post I have seen on here.

Except, it would be like hiring a multiple felon in the business world (which isn't as bad as testing positive for drugs in the NFL world lol)--taking that chance, risking a lot. Then, your performance goes through the basement--you don't bring in any leads, your sales are down, what have you, but...BUT...because you did well for a few years, you were rewarded for your loyalty to the company. Well, if your sales keep plummeting, they're supposed to...what, keep paying you a higher rate? Naw, it's a business, not a charity. Under their contractual rights, they tell you to take a pay cut or be cut. How's that not fair?

The Badger and Gresham are the evidence of how Keim has set this team back. We let Jefferson and Swearinger go, who were always healthy and much cheaper than the Badger at the time we could've extended them. Swearinger was on a prove it deal, so I get that he wanted to see what's out there on the open market. But Jefferson was an UDFA gimmick that played on famine wages for 4 years. When you have such a guy who has proven he belongs, you give him a decent contract after 2 or at least 3 years. Instead Keim gifted the Badger a contract that was more than twice of what Jefferson would've cost then. And this after 2 ACLs and only to cut him after the following season, while Jefferson and Swearinger ball out for their new teams and we field Betha (solid vet, but too slow in coverage) and Boston (cool hair though).

Cool hair? My buddies and I are always laughing at it. It reminds me of the Predator movie.....
