Just was going off of "done ok"

I don't really follow other teams offensive lineman

He was being facetious. There are plenty of guards that were drafted in the first round that have been very good players and worthy of a 1st round selection.

I'd take Chris Lindstrom late first round. Very technically and rarely gets beaten. Not a huge road grader, but you see him physically hold his own against bigger players and win most snaps.

Drafting Trenches >>>> skill positions
If we get the Miami pick at 13 we could draft TJ Hockenson TE out of Iowa.

That way we get a good player that can help in the trenches, and help out at the skill position.

A two for one.

Zero chance Miami trades assests to get rosen or Murray. They are going to suck this year either way and they are openly trying to rank. They want Lawrence or Tua next year. Next year is the draft class you want to tank with 3 guys who could go top 5 next year.

Lawrence isn’t draft eligible until 2021.

Tanking is a horrible idea in the NFL. Maybe Tua doesn't come out next year. Maybe he had a season ending injury and redshirts. Maybe 4 teams are worse and Philip Rivers has a career ending injury and the Chargers are ahead of you.

I don't get some of the optimism around the Dolphins.

Brian Flores is going to be a Wilks-esque hire.

Tua Tagovailoa either picks his receiver in the huddle or off a pre-snap read. He won't fall off the charts like Jake Browning (Washington) did this year, but he's not going to meet the sky high expectations.

Haven't Cooks, Julio and Brown all played in Super Bowls?

I was going off his list.

Elite receivers rarely propel a team to the Super Bowl.

Julian Edelman is a Super Bowl regular.

Julio has played in one, Fitz in one, and Brown in one.

Let me throw you guys for a loop that Jet does not know what he's talking about but after coming out of lil' Grambling State, I would keep Chad Williams on this roster because he has had one hell of a learning curve and he just might surprise... especially with the envisioned simplicity of a more Air Raid philosophy :)

You officially like Lindstrom more than me. I would be ok trading back from 33 to get him or trading up from our 3rd.

And so the Dolphins add former Buccaneers’ QB Ryan Fitzpatrick for 2019, with eyes on Alabama QB Tua Tagovaiola for 2020.

Wow...very interesting.

I heard someone talking about the Browns strategy. They were building cap space, draft capital, and waiting for their QBOF. Once they got Mayfield, they could open the floodgates on cap room and fill out a roster that can win right away.

Seems like the Dolphins took notice.

Miami will not be picking #1 with Fitzpatrick as their qb. He's far too good for a "tank" job. This is a flawed theory and looks to me like a team looking for a QBOTF, but still trying to be competitive.
