Thanks for posting, we need more stuff like this.

I actually emailed the Suns towards the end of the season and told them that this is my least favorite Suns team of all time. Not because they lost a lot, they were just impossible for me to watch.

Between Dragic being unhappy and leaving, the Moron twins verbally assaulting fans and physically assaulting humans, the technical fouls, the arguing with the coach. They were just not a team I can root for.

The Suns organization needs an enema, and I say that with love. #Fan4Life

I hesitate to say because I have mixed emotions about their response.

A very nice lady from the Suns did call me. We talked about my email for a while and she really downplayed it all. "Markief is just passionate" etc. etc. She offered me to come in for a tour of the building and some other stuff, but I turned them down because of how the email ended.

"Maybe afterward we can sit down and see about getting you back in some season tickets."

So you know, clearly they just passed me on to someone in the marketing department. Which you cant really blame them for. I mean, thats the objective here for them, to sell tickets.

That's been the only objective for the Suns since Robert Sarver took over.

And yet some here think Sarver's better than Colangelo :biglaugh:

I don't think any Suns fan thinks Sarver is a better owner than Colangelo.

Clearly, Sarver's success was due to two words -- Steve Nash.

But that tunnel vision as successful as it was didn't provide for the long haul after Steve deteriorated. Namely, a legitimate Point Guard to follow him and things like defense and developing young players.

My gripe with Colangelo was, not as a promoter or owner, but as GM. He established the 50-and-fade identity of the Suns which, at best, persists to this day.

Except unfortunately under Sarver, with his banker's mentality, we're not even 50-and-fade.

Are you and slinslin married? Usually, only married couples and countries fight like you two do.

?

He said no Suns fan thinks Colangelo is better than Sarver and I showed him evidence of that not being true. What's so bad about that?

As for your question, nah he's not my type. He could probably do better than me anyway.

Is anyone else wondering what in the heck lindholm could have going on in his mind to ask this question? (In the given context, I mean.)

I viewed it as a red herring. A thought to preoccupy someone.

I found a tidbit and I thought I would put it here rather than start a new thread.

In one week, Alex Len will represent the Suns at the draft lottery. He was the fifth pick two years ago.

I hope he doesn't injure himself going onstage. :)

Seriously, and ideally, the Suns need a role playing Center to mentor Alex. Mark West is not the one to teach him how to stay out of foul trouble.

Let Alex come off the bench with regular minutes throughout a full season and see if can build up his health, play against the opponents' 2nd units and develop his game for future growth.

But that would take a GM and Head Coach who don't bench their Centers to close out games.

How good would it have been if the Suns drafted Jusuf Nurkic to play behind or in front of Len. However, I would take a player like Spencer Hawes. Also look at the size Toronto has on their team. It's not that hard to add size for depth. The Suns need to start looking this direction and maybe they even get lucky.

If their not keep Hornacek, they need to at least upgrade the assistants. We have maybe the worst assistants in the NBA. Other than Longbardi who is extremely overrated, I think the others would struggle to find assistant coaching jobs if they got fired. That's how bad they are imo.

Number one priority in that case should be someone to help/coach/mentor Len.
