my father-in-law is sure it's going to be him. he said he heard an interview with a cardinals official (he said it wasn't rod graves, although he couldn't remember who it was) and the guy, when asked by a reporter who the cards were going to interview, said mike sherman and kind of froze because he blanked on the other names. my father-in-law thought it was a freudian slip, meaning the cards knew sherman was their man and the others were a formality.

I betcha they'll annouce it on Thursday.
