Spartans offer in-state 3-star WR Charles Britton

Michigan State football has extended an offer to a high-level wide receiver prospect from their own backyard.

Charles Britton of Belleville, Mich. announced on Thursday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Britton was on a visit to Michigan State on Thursday and following his visit announced the offer from Michigan State via a post on social media platform X.

Britton is a three-star prospect on Rivals, but is still unranked on 247Sports. He plays for Michigan high school powerhouse Belleville High and was teammates with Michigan five-star quarterback signee Bryce Underwood.

Britton is a member of the 2027 class.

Michigan State joins a host of other big-time schools that have offered Britton, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, Purdue, Utah, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Tulane, Eastern Michigan, UMass, Miami (OH), Toledo and Marshall.
