Does anybody have that movie on DVD to lend to me?
Local Blockbuster does not have it and I can't justify joining Netflicks just to watch one movie. Doctor Zhivago is probably the one great movie of my lifetime I've never seen.
Skkorp, I would highly recommend Netflix. You can get a basic plan for $5 per month and get 2 DVD rentals per month. They have everything in stock, they are super fast (if you sign up now you will have your DVD within 48 hours). No need to browse thru aisles, just type in the movie name and they send it. No postage required on the return. They are a great business. And no deadline on the return. You can send it back as late as you want, they just don't send you a new DVD until then.
Blockbuster charges around $4-5 per rental, they don't always have the movies you want, and finding the dang thing in aisles is annoying.
Heck, try it for 3 months. Worst case you are out $15 and have watched 6 DVDs including Zhivago.
