1) How in the world do you get TWO holding penalties on plays where the ball is fair caught? And near as I can tell they were both good calls.

2) We have clearly decided that either Cat can't do the pooch kicks into the corner, or we don't trust our coverage, he was booming them away all game giving them the ball at the 25 yard line. Some other NFL teams do this too so it must be a judgement call that we aren't good enough to do the directional stuff.

3) someone please coach the punter on how to fall down. Twice last night he had a rusher coming right at his legs, 95% of the punters in the NFL would have inadvertently moved just enough to draw contact and fell down. Both times he didn't, and wound up actually tripping over the guy. So he not only doesn't draw the penalty, he could have injured himself.

4) I said it last week and then he a mistake but I do think John Brown is going to eventually pop a punt return he's been close about 3 times now where if he gets one more block he's got a big return. He seems to be able to make the first player miss.

5) I have not noticed Brewer the new long snapper since we signed him, which is GREAT.

I think the ST did alright last night. Surprised to see a post complaining about it.

6.) Can we find a punter who knows how to kick a ball inside the 20 yard line?? At least twice last night, while punting from virtually midfield - or close to it - the best Quigley could do was punt the ball inside the 25 yard line...

So far the 2 things on him is he seems to get rid of it quicker than butler, and less shanks. But yeah didn't directionally kick well last night.

I'm still hoping Bryan Anger is a FA again next year and we sign him or someone better than him but I do prefer Quigley to Butler so far.

We also had HB and PP21 on the field on at least one of the kickoffs so we may be booming them out on purpose so those guys dont have to play coverage but are there in case we need an onside kick.

he gets a ton of airtime though so we at least have defenders there, Butler would get in the 20s but kick it line drive so it was easy to return.

ST has been great since the 49ers game.

I have no complaints.
