Untouched KO-six followed by another punt return meltdown. It's times like this I wish Phoenix media had the balls to question Keim/Arians on holding coaches accountable.

Let's see....

Punt team...... sucks ass.
Punt return team.....sucks ass
Kickoff team.....sucks ass
Kick return team.... sucks ass
Field goal unit......sucks ass
Field goal defense.....no impact.

Nice job Amos.

Now I know he doesn't have a say in the roster, so Butler isn't his fault directly. But still...

And that's why I say Arians doesn't emphasize ST enough, if at all.

It's been this way for 3 years. Poor special teams has cost us countless points and numerous games. It nothing has been done by now, it's a lost cause

Can anyone name another NFL Team that has lost 3 of their first 10 games in a season due to special teams failures? Ever? And had two other games determined to a great degree by blocked kicks. I have been following this team for 58 years and I have seen some awful displays and been let down numerous times but this is the worst. It's on me though because I got my hopes up that Arians/Kiem had the answers but they have lost some of their magic. We got nothing, absolutely nothing out of the draft and even had some guy named Boggs come in off the street to play on the OL instead of a draft pick. Oh whoa is me.....

In fairness to Kiem Veldheer, Iupoti, Mathis and a 1st round pick is at least an attempt to bolster the o-line. I'm more upset with Arians allowing his QB to get assaulted every time he goes back to pass. Move the pocket, run a reverse, FAKE a reverse, run some screens and sometimes be HAPPY to settle for a FG and put it back on the defense.
When you think of every contending team we have the most immobile QB in the league. It's time to move into the current century and realize in todays NFL you need a QB that can move. Not a running qb, but a QB that has some mobility to make some big plays by buying time.

Jones needs to be the sacrificial lamb for this 1st half of losses.

Nothing gets coaches out of this league faster than stubbornness

Shouldn't the Gm step in and make coaching decisions..

Michael Bidwill doesn't like losing because of stubborn blindness. I am sure that he has talked about the issue with Arians. Whisenhunt never backed down and it got him fired. I don't know if Ariams is capable of admitting fault

you are forgetting our return for a td & the blocked extra point by us. If you are listing the bad you need to list the good as well.

For expectations: Arians isn't going to call out an assistant coach in the post game presser/interview

Further --unlike O and D coordinators where you might have a guy or two who can step in-- ST coaches are kinda specialists. Who takes over if you let Jones go. It's a pragmatic issue.

All that being said: I don't know how you could possibly keep Amos Jones after the season is over.

Not after Kein proclaimed this his deepest roster ever. Not after passing on a Dwight Freeney, in part, because it took a roster spot for a ST contributor. Not after Keim and Arians specifically targeting special teams as an area that needed improvement. Not after scouting all offseason, Amos Jones picked the long snappers to compete for the job -- and we got a guy from Portland St.

I'm not supposed to know who Amos Jones is, and I do.

Fire him immediately. PP21 should've been in there to field, brown didn't know what he was doing
However, later in the game, Brown had more return yards on 1 return than PP has had in 2 years combined.

Amos should be fired nothing to lose at this point! What are we gonna get worse on STs, seriously doubt it. You could at least look like your addressing a major flaw and trying to correct it. Just ridiculous...

I don't think we even need to get that cute. DJ ate them alive for a drive and a half and then they put Ellington in and that drive turned into a pick six. We have more options with DJ down near the goal line. Then they put Boggs in and on the next 3 plays they pass. Let the guy hit someone in the mouth and get acclimated while continuing to run the ball.

DJ ran 22 times for 103 yards and a TD and caught a TD while catching 7 balls for 57 yards. He made some really tough catches today, even for a receiver or TE--for a RB to make a couple of those catches in traffic is impressive.

Now isn't the time to save DJ's legs like some people believe, these are must win games, he needed at least another 5 carries down inside the 20 (instead of Ellington). They're not even scripting a lot of his touches, many of his catches are just panic dump-offs by Palmer.

The question comes down to who do you think is more talented and more consistent, Palmer or DJ? I'm convinced DJ is the better talent and the better football player.

I especially believe that due to our decimated offensive line. Palmer took an absolute beating today. At one point he was hit on something like 70% of his drop-backs in this game. They're so bad at one point, on 3rd and long, Humphries pulled as if they were running a screen, ran downfield to block someone, ran into the WR and clogged up all of Palmer's passing lanes. That's how freaking bad they are.

Our special teams are a real disaster. More bad punting. Giving up a kickoff return TD. Brown not fair catching it and letting that ball roll, losing 20 yards of field position at the end of the game. Pathetic. Absolutely freaking pathetic. They use so many practice fields, the coaching staff is always saying how they're able to practice multiple units, but we're not seeing that on the special teams unit. Special teams put so much pressure on our offense and defense, every single game. It's safe to say that unit alone has lost us 3 games. At least.

Our WR's have been a huge disappointment all year, that shouldn't go unnoticed. Any WR not named Fitz sucks huge ass. Floyd, Brown, Nelson. Total suckage. Our TE's are also useless in multiple phases of the game. 1 or 2 catches and several missed blocks per game, that's what you can expect from our TE's each and every week.

I won't criticize anything about our defense. Without them we'd be worse than 4-5-1.

Our defense spends all game trying to overcome bad special teams and a stupid offense that likes to give the ball away.
