How come no one has mentioned that the Suns' defense rebounding went to pot in the fourth quarter? That's one of the other Broadway cliches, and we sure got a great show of it tonight.

It would have helped if Richardson and Barbosa showed up....

How could they?, no opportunities.
No plays were made for them, most of the time they were just in the corner while they were doing nash and amare pick and roll the entire second half.

It was working though, too bad nash had to trip over amare.

again, porter really don't have plays for these two guys.
They are not properly utilized

Even Andrew has no words of encouragement to offer here. That's when you know we're screwed.

I'm so proud of myself!

I finally learned the lesson of not getting too emotionally involved in a Suns/Spurs game and I feel infinitely better at the end of the game than I do normally after one of these. Hell, it almost ruined the rest of Christmas day for me; thankfully there was a big turkey and a lot of red wine to ease the pain.

DID YOU WATCH THE GAME?!!! Richardson went 3-6 and was asked to sit in the corner all night. It is piss poor coaching to not get Richardson involved at all offensively. We might as well bring him off the bench to lead the second group if all he is going to do with the first group is sit in the corner.

Pop ran know plays for Manu, and he freaking torched us. Where is that will power in those 2? I mean really, PLAY the game and play it hard, especially against a rival.

THERE is no words of encouragement after a disappointing loss like this, I swear if they don't beat the Bulls easily, I am gonna go postal.

Didnt you hear the commentators?

They said POP didn't give manu any plays. Pop just told manu to "do his thing" Meaning he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted. J rich and Barbs don't have that opportunity. Porter just throw it in to shaq or nash pick and roll with amare all day long.

Easy to figure out, easy to beat.

It might be a good approach when you watch any Suns game this season. This team can lose on any given night to anyone... not just the Spurs.

I had a typo, I said that exactly.

on the bright side,lol

another win-able game, once you figure in the:

tech's picked up by the suns
BS fouls called against the suns due to giflopli & duncan
porter's rotation and hack-a-bowen
fouling bowen with less that 2min left in the game
missed free throws by the suns

I wonder what will happen if Barbosa is given the opportunity to do whatever he wanted like ginoble

It reminds me of my mavericks when we had devon harris. There were no plays drawn to him, only to Dirk, and josh with terry off the bench. When they trade devon harris to the New Jersey Nets, Harris is an ALLSTAR now because he can do whatever he wants.

I think barbosa is capable, he is still young, and not ready to bear the load, but so was Devon Harris, and we know how that went.

If you're such a knowledgable Mavericks fan, I'm surprised you don't know that Harris's first name is Devin, not Devon.

I still cant believe the Hack-A-Bowen, Hack-A-Shaq was a strategy. Hack-A-Bowen is a desperate move that porter has no play left.
Sheesh, i feel like i should Hack-A-Mr Potato head right now

I think what cost us this game is that two of our key players Barbosa and JRich didn't show up offensively. Barbosa's minutes were spotty and JRich didn't have that many open looks. Barbosa and JRich both didn't drive to the hoop enough IMO.

On a night when we at least needed one of them to show up it didn't happen. Our bigs played great and Steve Nash played pretty damn good and we still lost. This team just mentally doesn't have it it appears or it's really shows how bad a coach Porter is. I am leaning towards Porter. WTF was Porter telling these guys to do at the end.

Here is the other thing I have been watching the last 3 games.....JRich on offense. He has JRich sitting out in 3 point land....waiting for the basketball. WTF? The guy can post up and he sure as hell can drive to the hole. WTF does Porter have him sitting out there doing nothing....every single game?????

LB does not show up for big games and the Suns apparently do not run any 3 point plays for JRich. Nash did not feed JRich for an open 3 point shot in the corner during the last couple of minutes.
