Good game so far, the tied score shows for it.

Most important stat so far: ZERO TURNOVERS

Nice shot Steve. We need defensive stops to win this game or we are looking at yet another buzzer beater death for the Suns.

If we can keep this up, I think we can get this.

0 freaking turnovers, AMAZING.

The first half was fluid for both teams, however the bad thing is Amare settling for jumpers...he needs to drive to the paint more.

Other than that, awesome half. Sure hope we can play as good in the 2nd half...

Good thing Nash hit that shot. We were looking at a 9 point swing in the Spurs favor over the last 3 minutes of the 2nd quarter. Suns and Spurs tied at 57 after the 2nd quarter. Suns shooting 49% with 2/2 3 pointers, Spurs 55% with 4/11 3 pointers.

Suns have 5 offensive rebounds, Spurs 4.

Suns have committed 0 turnovers, Spurs 5. :)

Suns have hit 13/16 free throws, Spurs have hit 11/13 free throws.

it's discouraging when you have 0 turnovers, shooting almost 50%,2-2 from the line and only tied.

Has to be Nash's best half of the season. 12 points, 9 assists, zero turnovers. And against a great team.

They need to give out health warnings when these two teams play.. always intense, always close, always comes down to the wire, always controversial. You go through all emotions possible in one game.

man kenny hit the nail right on the head.
he says the suns stand around when shaq gets the ball down low.
and i agree.
we need more motion, screens & double screens.

So far so good. Without turnovers, we are always in the game. With rest, Nash might be less prone to TO too. Amare was too passive at the beginning when switched to defend TD but learnt to be preactive with time.

Agreed. We need cutters so Shaq can dish to them near the basket. So far no one does that except periodically Barbs or Lou

Nash's defense is the confidence booster for Spurs to stay in the game.

In a van...down by the river.
Watching this SPURS team reminds me just how important coaching is in terms of defense.
This team isn't loaded with great defenders anymore and yet you watch them move their feet, guard passing lanes, block out and get in your face.
Porter is not getting it done.
