I'm guessing that he's talking about the fact that the likes of Christmas and Smith have dropped out of the rotation, and Goodwin's minutes have been slashed.

They have? Seems to me he's playing more than ever. I believe I heard he's getting the fourth most minutes of all rookies.

That's more of a by-product of having both Bledsoe and Dragic at full health, isn't it? Green got the majority of the minutes left by those injuries, but those guys got the trickle down minutes too, especially Smith.

Could be; I haven't analyzed it. And I think Smith and Christmas have very limited potential, so I'm not concerned about the reduction in their minutes. I was just speculating as to what Mainstreet meant with his comment.

I think the Suns should get back to focusing on developing their young players, playing well as a team and forget about wins and losses. This is not the season the Suns should be worried about winning. Somehow, after experiencing early success, the Suns have gotten into the win now mode.

Isn't part of the development learning to win? The last thing you want to do is develop a culture of losing. The Suns traded for young players and they are playing them.

You interpreted my comments correctly although I was not thinking about Christmas or Smith. However, the Suns seemed to play more intensely with all the trickle down competition.

It was nice to see the Suns substituting earlier in the year regardless of status. IMO, playing almost everyone on the roster playing builds team chemistry which also produced winning. I guess now, it is not a quite as exciting with players having settled into their roles.
