Fitting we lose this game on a last second tip in. That’s my prediction.

If Beal's body will let him, play him the full 48 minutes.
How on point would it be for this season if Beal goes off for 30 in one of both of these games when it doesn't count.

I read talk earlier in the season that coach wanted to see the old scoring mode Beal. Guess that message didn't get through. What is he averaging? Like 14 ppg?

I looked it up. He averages nearly 17 ppg which is decent. Hope he focuses more on scoring next year.

How many games has he left early due to a cramp that helped lower that average? I'd guess at least 6. Then he had that stint off the bench also, which is another 15 games. Maybe he has been in score mode it's just rare to see.

I wonder what the Suns are going to do with Richards? I think he has been OK and he is under contract through next season.
I'm hoping the Suns keep Richards. He is center depth if nothing else and his salary is only $5 million.

He passes the eye test, by when you dig down into the numbers, he is awful, extreeeeemely bad.

He is just subtle in the ways he is bad. He can't set a screen, he can't score outside of the rim... but you don't notice these things unless you look for them. He also cannot defend... at all, like, he's lost. Not in the right spots, doesn't back out, tends to let guys get by him so he can try and block from behind, he's a total doormat defensively.

He and Beal were, by far, the worst 2 rotation players this year, whenever they were on the court, we were awful.

I liked him at first too, but when it came to the results, he was the worst big on the roster.

Having a lineup that heavily featured guys that played big parts on a Hornets team that was the worst in basketball turned out to be a really bad idea.

The Suns weren't so good either, so perhaps it was a perfect fit. Maybe with a new system, Richards will play better. He was at best a temporary fix.

Also, with the Suns reluctance to add size and the departure of Nurkic, fans have to take what they can get.

I suppose a Larry Nance type trade is too much to hope for, but this is what the Suns need.
Devin Booker is who you get the Larry Nance type for… not the 37 year old, on and off injured KD with only one year left on his deal.

Whatever we get from a KD trade should be a bonus moving forward, but the not centerpiece of a rebuild. Booker is the guy who’s value can get back what’s actually needed to start a total rebuild.

I am holding out hope some team really really wants him but you might be right. Trading Book might be the only was to accelerate a rebuild.
