THe Mavs just flat out didnt show up to play in that series. If they would have played their game they would have won. San ANtonio does not scare me. **** them.

It looked that way at times but the Spurs have made other teams look dull and listless so I'll reserve judgement until after game 1. If we blow them out 136 - 23 I'll be ready to go out on a limb and pick the Suns but until then I'll just blindly hope for the best. Seriously though, I think at our best we are better than they are at their best but that still leaves a lot of room for discussion.

I don't remember if I posted this thought in another thread or not (please forgive me if I did). But I believe that the move that got us the series vs. the Blazers -- Grant Hill on Andre Miller -- also cost Steve Nash his effectiveness -- having to guard a bigger player.

It affected his condition, which affected his shooting and turnovers. But we still won. Without the switch, we probably would not have.

What are your feelings about matchups with the Spurs? Will that be a factor?

That is the most viable option after losing the first game because Batum had a bad shoulder. Nash did have to chase him around especially off the 3pt line but he got some help whenever Batum tries to drive.
