Not sure if anyone has asked this but here goes: I know the parking is open 4 hours early but how early can we actually enter the stadium? I would like to get to the team shop before the game and spend some money. Also where can I find the basic stadium regulations? I would like to know what i can/can't bring into the stadium.
Thanks

Couldn't help but notice the South end zone seats in the pics from the "Mock Game" at Cardinal Stadium. Since those were not available during ticket buying does anyone have a clue as to the use of those seats??

Some type of "guest seating" perhaps???

I asked about those as well on the azcardinals.com board. Someone over there mentioned that they had heard that they were basically just "testing" some of the extra seating for the game. And, due to the scale of those seats (i.e., there aren't that many of them), I've been wondering if those are actually the seats that will sit on the pedestrian bridge.

They are - I believe - going to fill up that whole floor area with seats (along with the upper North Endzone), and also place some seats on the pedestrian bridge for the "extravaganza" seating configuration.

Those could be part of the "Budweiser Red Zone". I recall when they announced this partnership, some people would be selected to sit in the Red Zone during the game. These are the only seats in that end of the stadium.

BUDWEISER, BUD LIGHT SIGN ON AS EXCLUSIVE SPONSOR OF ARIZONA CARDINALS, NEW STADIUM THROUGH 2010

Arizona Cardinals
Press Release

ST. LOUIS (March 20, 2006) – Arizona Cardinals fans will step into a whole new world when the team’s new stadium opens for the start of the 2006 NFL season. However, one element will remain the same thanks to a five-year agreement announced today by Anheuser-Busch and the Arizona Cardinals. Budweiser and Bud Light will serve as the exclusive alcohol sponsor of the team, and the brands will have a major presence in the new Cardinals Stadium through 2010.

The popular “Budweiser Red Zone” will occupy a prominent position in the south end zone of the new stadium, marked by an 18-foot by 240-foot sign and flanked by two branded areas in the concourse. Budweiser will host the Red Zone during all Cardinals games. Lucky consumers 21 and over can win game tickets in a special section and win team merchandise through a sweepstakes held in conjunction with participating radio and retail partners.

Maybe it's the "special section". Pretty good seats!!

The stadium will open at 11:00 am. I plan to get there early also to "tour" the place so I can be in my seat for kick off. Preseason or not, this is the start of an awesome season!!!

(don't want to get to excited but hope springs eternal until that first game ;) )

Not to put any damper on anybody's plans this saturday but my fiancee's sisters bf who is a head of security told me that they will let people in 45 mins before kickoff, things are subject to change he said. So be there early this saturday.

Not to mistrust your fiancee's sister's best friend, but I think I'll be safe showing up an hour before the game.

I wonder what my ex-wife's best friend's brother has heard?

Wasn't Sun Devil Stadium open 1.5 hours before the game?

I just don't think opening 45 minutes prior to the game is enough time to get 65,000 people in the door.

Coyotes open the doors 1.5 hours ahead of time.

I wouldn't be surprised if the doors opened at 11. Remember that they've got the stadium opening ceremonies to go through in addition to all the normal pregame stuff. When you figure that they've always got stuff going on for the final 15 minutes before game time and they appear to have added at least a half hour's worth of additional stuff, 45 minutes would more likely be the period of pregame activities for the early arrivers to watch.

No need to take cheap shots there buddy. If you were around since this site has been around you should know I rarely give out info and if I do its not an misinformed info either. Like I said he's a security manager at the stadium so if he tells me that they are not letting people in till 45 mins before kickoff take it as a grain of salt and moved along, like he said thats subject to change.

There is no way that is true.

Sounds about right. There is no way you can get 65,000 people into a stadium and seated in 45 minutes.
