Played on both PS4 and PC.
PS4 looks pretty good and has decent framerate.
This game looks ungodly at 4k on PC. Can get it up to about 40-65 FPS at 4k, and 90-120 [more if I take settings down aggresively like to 150] at 1080p.
It's an amazing game.
It may be from EA, but it isn't a Battlefield clone. Make sure you grab everything around you to give you an advantage or you are cannon fodder.
Use the turrets, use the vehicles... buy the Star Cards, like the shield, the sniper, the jetpack, and thermal detonator.
What I like to do is...
Run towards the uplink (to either set as rebels or undo as empire) and see if I can get it. I try to set it up so that if someone shoots at me, I can use the jumpack in time to get right near the uplink. Then use the shield as I'm setting up or undoing the uplink.
This game is going to be great. Have it pre-ordered on PS4, but I will double dip at some point on PC. It's looks great, and it doesn't use too much more power as compared to Battlefield 4... maybe about 10-20 percent more power.
Can't wait to play the other modes and all the other maps. Drop zone is ok, but the Walker Assault is much more epic.
Got 56-13 one round
Oh EA multiplayer games also have an issue where sometimes they flood your router and screwup. If you have connection issues with ANY EA multiplayer game... I've experienced it with THIS, Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield Hardline... reset your router (unplug it, wait a few seconds, plug it back in... wait for everything to reconnect). [And this happens with both PC and PS4 games...literally has happen to both of each of those games as I have or tried the beta on all four of those games on both PC and PS4] This fixes my problems with EA online games.
