I wish the mirroring thing allowed me to play on two full screens. I'll take split screen but it makes a lot of games really hard to play. I was super excited about mirroring to the computer until I tried it and we BOTH had split screens.

Yeah...I wish they made it easier somehow to play or stream a second screen to another device. I think we have the technology.

i thought that was the whole point of streaming but it is an exact mirror image on a different device. If not changing it from split screen tot wo screen it could at least let me play games on my PC while the fam watches TV on it in the other room.

I would buy it but I want a digital copy. They offer the digital code but want $60 for it. Thats silly when the disc is $40.

Backwards compatible seems to be primary digital for future consoles

me and a buddy set our boxes up to where digital games are shared between both consoles

Instead of bringing all of my discs to your house, if I come over and log in to my gamertag, my entire collection is available to play.

Thats probably it. The only disc games I own are COD ghosts and minecraft. Everything else is digital. No boxes, no discs, nothing. You still have to install the discs for hours before you can play the game too to where the disc is near useless.

Good explanation. Now that the wife is working again, the new console conversation is picking up steam and I think I'll go for the large hard drive options if the price is right.

Seems like Playstation still has all of the SW Battlefront bundles exclusively at this point.

Honestly you are going to end up getting an external hardd rive just from all the free games you are getting so I would stick with the 500GB Xbone and then get a 5TB HD for around $100 on amazon instead of paying $50-$100 extra just for another 500GB of storage

I'll keep that in mind. When you add an external drive, does it bypass the internal or is that available too? For example, would a 5TB external drive plus 1TB internal give total of 6TB usable storage or just 5TB?

Also, are you aware of the best bundle deals out there? Who should I be watching?

you have both available. You would set it up to use the 5tb and the hd in the box would be your backup.

I have not been watching the deals but I believe all bundles are $50 off right now. Check out the twitter or blog for Larry Hyrb AKA Major nelson, he posts most of the deals online.

i think only survival mode is 2 player. We played a round on Endor for a half hour last night, this game is stunningly beautiful.

You guys all know I have been raving about the visuals of this game. However, I watched this video of a mod some guy did to update the visuals even more. Amazing watch if you have not seen it. The video below is posted in 1080P because not everyone has 4K but trust me when I say it looks even better in 4K. Still amazing though.

I picked up for a few games and I am a little shocked that some of weapons defaults from rank 1 are the same as the beta. You are at a distinct disadvantage against other players when they have grenades and you don't. Or jet boosters and you don't. I get some weapons are unlocked as a reward but people should start off at least on a semi-level playing field no matter your rank.

This may make it hard for me to put a lot of time in this game.

I have only tried survival so far and it already has that stuff. I imagine you could rank up rather quickly though?

You can do every mode except multiplayer online co-op.

The main issue I am having is I have played quite a bit and I still feel at a disadvantage on certain game modes due to my like of special abilities. Deathmatch is fine but some of the big game modes you really need special perks to survive.

I have finally unlocked some of my favorite traits and weapons. I have not really unlocked any skins. Seemed like a waste of credits until now. As much as I love this game they really need a massive update. Walker Assault is my favorite but I am itching for some new maps, some new modes and possibly some expanded play.

On a serious note, I finally have the jet pack thing and the homing missile but I want more.
