The Dallas Stars prepare for their Game Three matchup as they head to Colorado. The Stars are coming of a thrilling conclusion in Game Two as they pulled off a win in overtime to tie the series. The Stars will now face the tough task of winning games in the Ball Arena, a location that has not been kind to Dallas this season. The Stars will need goaltender Jake Oettinger to continue his solid play, or even take his play to another level, to give the Stars an edge to come back home with a series lead.

Jake Oettinger has been a solid presence for the Stars thus far through the first two games of their first round playoff series. While the numbers do not look pretty due to a lopsided loss in Game One, Oettinger made up for it in the following game as he stopped 37 of the 40 shots he faced. Now that the Stars and Avalanche move their series to Colorado, Oettinger may have to take his level to a level that has only been seen in Conn Smythe Trophy winning goaltenders.

Regardless of failing to pick up a win in two games in Colorado, the Stars and Oettinger will aim to their performance from last year's playoff run, as the Stars won both games played on the road en route to their series win against the Avalanche. Puck drop is set for 8:30 pm CDT and can viewed on ESPN and Victory+.
