Dont see Mike Vick beating us. And everyone is talking about the Colts/Pats game as FU game.....to me this is a very very underatted one. He has played coy (as he should) but Arians is going to bring the kitchen sink and coach the game of his life imo. With Vick i see the opportunity to really put it on them but i do think defense is good and Bell will be a handful. But we always get up for good backs so I think well be okay there.

31 - 17 Cardinals

If Big Ben was playing it would be a different story. But you better believe Arians has this game and the first game at Seattle as circled on the calendar.

I personally think he is going to depants Tomlin especially with the limited Mike Vick under center. He was atrocious for 3 Q and that is NOT a good SD defense.

Arians is from York, PA & I know some of his closest high school buddies. He won't admit it, but this will be the most important game he's coached as a Cardinal. The Cardinals will be willing to die on the field in order to get him this win. Tomlin handled that situation like a snake & BA won't forget it. Never easy to win in Pittsburgh, so I won't guarantee a win. What I do know is that our team loves their coach & they want nothing more than to hoist him after this game. Pittsburgh better come ready to play, because they will get our best.

What did Tomlin do to snake BA's job? How did he have anything to do with it?

Matthieu, John Brown, and Fells, all listed as questionable.

Anyone have any update on these?

All I know is Matthieu is a heel issue and John Brown is a hamstring...

Anyone know if JJ Nelson is back from injury? Might be a good decoy if Brown's hamstring is an issue for him during game time. Although JJ's route running is far from desired right now...

All of CBS Sports experts picked the Cardinals this weekend. 9 of 13 ESPN talking heads pick the Cardinals.

Fox Sports had this to say...
Arizona at Pittsburgh: What a Monday night win for the Steelers. Up against it the whole game, struggling to move the ball, the defense which has struggled all season keeping them in it, Michael Vick bursts out for a 24-yard scramble in crunch time, and Le'Veon Bell gets it done in the end. Just awesome. It won’t be so easy against this loaded Cardinals team, though. You can have the others, but this is your game of the week, and after a week of practicing in West Virginia, I think Arians wills his team to victory in the stadium he used to call home. Oh, and by the way, Chris Johnson is tied for third in the league in rushing. What magic power does GM Steve Keim have out there in the desert?

The Pick: Cardinals 24, Steelers 20

It always worries me when the overwhelming majority of NFL media type folks pick the Cardinals, just bad vibes.

Fox Sports also had this too in their preview of the Titans game...
Hey, Ken Whisenhunt is 4-28 in his past 32 games as an NFL head coach. Not picking him to win on Sunday, either.
I knew it was bad but had no idea it was THAT bad.

media naysayers will be out in force if we lose Sunday... and I won't blame them. This is the second team we've played with a pulse this season. Gotta start beating those teams to go along with demolishing the others if we want to have a first-round bye, especially considering how ridiculously easy Atlanta's schedule is.

Yep... and, if we lose and the Hawks win, the West will only be that much tighter...
I won't count the Hawks dead until they are officially dead...

Because those include points of turnovers, and I'm not sure how representative that is — or how sustainable for the long-term. We didn't get turnovers in the Rams game, had to settle for field goals, and only scored 22 points.

Here's where I'm concerned: we're 29th in the NFL in plays per drive (5.21), 8th in yards per drive (33.9) and 2nd in points per drive (2.78). I'm not sure that's a sustainable variance for the long-term — both because big plays are relatively rare and have a high potential for turnover and because of regression toward the mean.

But I've been pretty consistently wrong about Carson Palmer's ability to continue to protect the ball and be productive carrying over his performance from last year, but we're 22nd in the NFL in passing attempts per game and 10th in passing yardage. I could pretty easily be wrong about this.

We are averaging 38 points per game, and Carson still threw 3 touchdowns last week on a very small number of passes. We aren't just making big plays through the air, we are making them everywhere on the field. If this was all on big pass plays, I would tend to share your concern more, but we have so many explosive playmakers that I don't think regression to the mean is something we have to worry about nearly as much as in other years. The weapons and the system are matched up in a way I haven't seen in the NFL since the 1994 49ers - and they are going to keep making these big plays (barring injury or significant mental errors) because there are very few defenses in the league who can account for all of our explosive playmakers on offense.

Should I stop wasting my time looking for Cardinals gear here in Pittsburgh?

To purchase or on people? About the only place you might find any is out at Robinson Mall if they have a just sports type place. They all still love Fitz there though, so who knows.

Losing a game on the road to a decent team is never shameful in the NFL. Yeah, we can lose, but it doesn't immediately lead to the final conclusion that we won't be a great team in the playoffs, or the rest of the year.

That's the thing. Most teams have 1 maybe 2 big play makers. We have several.

The wheels came off early in the Rams game. It was just one of those games. I do believe that if it werent for the DJ fumble on the opening kick off it would have been a blow out win for the Cards.

They got down, and then got out of their game plan. That's my story anyway.

This game tomorrow will tell alot.

Well it appears you were right about regressing back to the mean.
