Steelers release WR Wilson after arrest (AP)

The Pittsburgh Steelers have released wide receiver Cedrick Wilson a day after he was charged with assaulting his girlfriend at a suburban restaurant. The Steelers did not immediately comment beyond the two-paragraph release Thursday that says Wilson's contract has been terminated. Wilson signed with the Steelers as a free agent out of San Francisco in March 2005.
