I don't know if anyone caught it just now but Keim was on Bickley and MJ. It was a great interview the quick skinny:

When asked about Moore Keim said he is very excited and his role will be to help BA in the day to day operation of the offense and he will oversee the development of the O.

Arians, Keim and the scouting staff had dinner last night. Arians addresses the scouting staff and they are very excited to get to work for him.

Addressing the Oline and Dline are top priority, must be physical up front.

A QB is also a big need when asked about the importance of drafting a QB in the draft early, Keim said its very important, but also important not to reach for positional need.

Dockett is very excited to play for Arians, and once all players meet the staff and come on board Keim said the other players will come on board as well.

Atmosphere has changed.

When asked about Glenon, Keim became excited. He likes his size and skill set.

Said its very important for Kolb to stay healthy, it looks like they are going to see what they have at QB.

He said the same thing about RB position. He and Arians are very high on Williams. Reading between the lines and forming my opinion it sounds like Beanie is out and RDub is in.

After Super Bowl the coaching staff will make grades and assessments on all the players and make decision then. I expect the Cards to be aggressive this FA period.

He likes Massie and said he could be the RT for years. He likes Potters development and said he could play both tackle and has ability to play guard.
Mentioned Levi coming back. Again my opinion but I really think Warmack will be pick at 7.

Bickley asked him about moving TC out of Flagstaff, which he I didn't hear a clear answer on and he also asked him about if the Cardinals need to be and if they are going to be more physical in TC and Keim said "Absolutely" and that Cardinals haven't worked on fundamentals as much as they should have.

A really great interview, it sounds like there is a complete culture change in AZ and everyone is on board. Keim mentioned more than once how excited everyone is for this to all begin. Everything has changed for the better. He said the Cardinals are going to be a more physical team.

I'm so excited to get suckered in to drafting Ryan Williams in the 12th round of my fantasy draft to see him stink for 6 weeks and then get injured. :bang:

Great synopsis of DB's and MJ's interview with SK, CT!

Here's what I took away from it:

1. Glennon may well be the pick at #7. Keim said, "I'm a homer (NC St.)"...but the way he talked up Glennon's upside and as enthusiastic as he was in assessing Glennon's strengths, I would say Glennon is now at the center of discussion with the #7 pick.

It also makes sense from the standpoint of why hire Tom Moore and not get him the opportunity to put his stamp on the QBOF.

2. Potter and Levi will be in the mix at LT---with possibly Potter kicking down to guard of Levi prevails. There clearly is some excitement about Potter moving forward.

3. Massie is here to stay at RT.

4. If healthy, Ryan Williams is the feature RB.

5. Keim already feels comfortable that we have the horses (DD, CC, DW, DC, etc.) to be a dominant defensive front. This suggests to me that if we go for Glennon at #7---we will target the guard spot at #38.

The sad part is if you don't take him this year he will go Barry to the tune of 9-10 TDs. :p (never listen to hippies)

Glennon = Derek Anderson, John Skeleton, and Ryan Lindley.

No thanks.

Just a WAG (wild-assed guess) but, if I wanted to boost my chances of landing a blue chip O lineman at #7 or wanted to boost the value of the #7 pick in order to trade down, I'd talk up how good some of the other top prospects are - especially the QB's.

Did you actually hear the interview?

Based on the synopsis and his mention of the need for a more physical O-line, D-line, one could equally conclude that someone like Warmack is the target.

P.S. We'll let things play out, but, there's no one I've read who sees Glennon as a top 10 pick.

That's what I took from it as well. He specifically mentioned the tackle position and sounded content with the LT and RT spot and said he wouldn't reach for QB.

My own deductions from listening to that interview

Round 1 Warmack

Round 2 QB---Glenon if he's still there.

Atmosphere has changed.

We hear this every time a new HC is hired. Whisenhunt changed the atmosphere but then changed it back.

Now we have Arians who worked under Whisenhunt. Sounds wonderful. Keim and CKWjr right? However, Arians appears to know what is going on. Grimm ruined the offensive line in Arizona. I'm guessing that CKW wouldn't let Grimm go so Bidwill fired him and hired Ken Whisenhunt II, but without Grimm, and a guy who has brought in an entire University of offensive line Professors to fix the problem.

How awesome would it be to see this work out and our RBs and QBs not be knocked down within a second or so of getting the football like they have the last 3 seasons?

And getting "tougher" on both sides of the line has been Keim's theme from the day he got the job.

How about:

Rd. 1 - Trade down or Jarvis Jones or Bjorn Werner.

Rd. 1 - J. Cooper / E. Fisher (in lieu of trade down)

Rd. 2 - D. Jones - DE/DT or QB / OL (if no trade down)

Rd. 2 - Glenon/Nassib - QB

Rd. 3 - Best OL, RB, TE, CB or S avail. (rated highest/need factored)

Rd. 4 - Best RB or ILB or one of above

Rd. 5 - Best remaining of above

Rd. 6 - Ditto

As couple thoughts:

Based on the Dockett interview with Jurecki on KGME, it sure sounds like the team is going to play a 4-3 defense. That means you have Calais at strong side DE, Dock and Williams at tackles and ? at the weak DE spot.

Demontre Moore , Werner and Jones all fill needs in that scenario: the first two as DEs and the last as an OLB. You are also drafting into the strength of this draft

The Suns have changed their atmosphere and wow it is messy. I'm glad the Cardinals brought in some people who are experienced.

Don"t have to switch out of a base 3-4 to meet DD's wants. The Parcell's 3-4, that our new D-coordinator is familiar with, allows for one gapping, the Pittsbirgh style does not.

I only heard the tail end of it, when he was saying they needed to have a more physical training camp. Jurecki was then saying that Whis always ran a country club atmosphere, cuz he wanted to be a 'players coach.'

Said he always heard the 49'rs and Seahawks camps more much more physical and in pads.

I agree with you. I didn't take away what Mitch heard at all.

In fact he made it a point to say there would be good quarterbacks in the 2nd round. I clearly came away that they were probably not going for a quarterback in the 1st.

He did say that in some ways Glennon reminded him of Matt Schaub when he saw him before the draft.

He did say that they were lucky to be able to see Potter and Massie play and be able to evaluate them and that they showed promise.

But he also said that no matter how good someone has looked they would take any opportunity to upgrade, either at starters or backups.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Warmack as the pick at 7.

Keim also was excited about the addition of Tom Moore.

He said Moore's job was to assist BA on any and everything to do with the offense.

Keim said he would be attached to the hip with Moore. He said he told Moore he wanted to pick his brain and wanted to know everything he knows about football.
