The Keim era has commonly looked like it was devoid of any long term plan or identity. It has been more of a random accumulation of moves and hirings which do not seem to working together to any sort of end goal.
If a new GM is brought in, he'll want his own dudes, if he worth his salt. That means no KK and KM will probably be traded for a fifth, in two years. Not saying that is a bad thing it will just be starting over. Hopefully then we could start building a long term solution, but that is a 4 to 5 year plan.
A new GM will have Kingsbury fall on the sword. Kliff is probably safe for next year even with Keim’s dismissal.
Wilson is a power house inside the Cardinals from many accounts so he is not walking out of this fire like Mother of Dragons unscathed. We are entering Suns territory with Cardinals.I would bet the house that Adrian Wilson will replace Keim maybe even before the year is over, assuming we don’t see exponential growth throughout the year.
Don’t know if Wilson is the right guy to replace Keim but that’s how I think it will go.
You very well could be right. Just my gut feeling.Wilson is a power house inside the Cardinals from many accounts so he is not walking out of this fire like Mother of Dragons unscathed. We are entering Suns territory with Cardinals.

That is what I figure as well. But the new guy will want his dudes. It really comes down to the new guys philosophy.

AZCentral and Kent Somers have turned off the lights on Keim.
"But he’s (Kliff) saddled with a roster lacking in talent because his boss, General Manager Steve Keim, has made mistake after mistake, especially when it comes to drafting good players.
Cardinals fans prefer Keim to be escorted out by security now, although that serves little purpose. But if there is no significant improvement, cardboard boxes should await Keim when he reports to work on Dec. 30, the date after the season ends."

Going into this season, I felt the chances of Keim being fired at the end were less than 20% d/t Keim's long-standing relationship with ownership. It's now around 50%.
What is the conversion chart for being honest for a columnist vs a beat writer? Why cant Somers call a terrible situation terrible without permission?
I don't remember his name, Xavier something or other, who works for the Rams, Mitch had a writeup on him in ROTB, and he seemed to have pretty good credentials. Pretty sure SK will last this season, but will then be fired. You need a proven GM candidate, and I don't think AW or Harris fits that description.
Not slander when it's true.I am sorry if this posted before here. This is some serious charge that a local radio host is leveling. Without proof would not this radio host be in legal trouble here for slandering?
