I'm not sure who you're trying to teach Titan history to, but I'm a Nashville native up until 2 years ago. I've had too much fun meeting Cardinal diehards here on the boards, and at the games and tailgates. My loyalty at the very beginning of this past season was all Titans, but now my loyalty is all Cardinals. I will never let go of my #1 loyalty and love for the original and best football team in Tennessee, the Vols.
I read Titan fans all the time picking apart their schedule next year and already predicting the wins and losses. You can read about stuff like this on the Titan board (TOMB), which is where most loyal Titans congregate to talk about Titan football. This particular subject here was about Steve McNair, and his potential to be a Cardinal, not about the Titans and how much trouble they are surely in due to over-inflated salaries.
And btw, they tried to re-sign Kearse, they made him an offer as to what they thought his market value was, he declined because Philly wanted to make him one of the most over-paid and over-rated DE's in the league today. They also wanted to re-sign George, but in a supporting role to Brown. George did not want that, he wanted to be the starter. He signed with Dallas thinking he would be the starter, but Jones emerged and George saw less and less playing time, and so he was not happy in Big D. But, Titan fans were definitely worried after George's departure last off-season, it wasn't until Brown emerged at the beginning of the season, that then and only then Titan fans started talking like George who???
BTW, absolutely NO SHOT at the SB next year, or anytime soon thereafter. NO SHOT!!!!!!! Titans #1 goal should be just getting back to .500!!!
