Better off silent
No surprise, but Steve will be inducted in the Ring of Honor on October 30th. Suns.com has a nice section devoted to it.
“Actually, it was a pretty simple decision,” Suns Managing Parnter Robert Sarver said in a video released by the organization with Monday’s Ring of Honor announcement. “Steve is just one of the best players to ever put on a Phoenix Suns uniform. Two-time MVP and really the face of our franchise for eight years. Just really proud of all the accomplishments he’s had. To me, it was kind of a no-brainer that he belongs up in our Ring of Honor.”
As soon as I saw the Ring of Honor game announcement, it took all of 6 minutes to get my tickets.

I instantly looked for tickets too and sure seems like they spiked up in price in a matter of seconds. Saw tickets in the bottom level about 20 rows up going for $265 per ticket. Yea, no thanks
Aren't they doing that "dynamic pricing" thing now, where some computer algorithm is constantly changing the price according to real-time demand vs. supply?

Dynamic ticket pricing is an interesting concept. Started (I think) by an Austin based company, Qcue. They did their beta testing for the SF Giants a while back.

A very sad scenario indeed.
I tell myself it has something to do with his children living in California.
Better the Warriors than continuing to be associated with the freaking Lakers.Kind of sad that the Golden State Warriors got him as a consultant...

Reportedly the Lakers and Suns also tried to hire Steve Nash as a player development consultant.
