There's no sympathy on 98.7. I caught part of the game on the radio and Wolfley was openly excoriating the coaches. You know for a fact Bickley and Lamebadoro will be crapping on this Trumpster fire all day long. I bet even Bruce Jacobs will have a gallon of scorn over at KFYI.

As to loyalty to GMs, the Cards have suffered from that for years. The Birdwells sucking up to a GM is nothing new. Remember Rod Graves? Or Bob Ferguson? Or Larry Wilson. Hell, they are so f***ed, Grandpa Charlie used to root for the Bears when he knew the Chi Cards were gonna lose because of him. I actually think they realized we weren’t going to catch them and they took their foot off the accelerator. I know people tell a story about being within one score in the fourth quarter, but it was never that close.

The only point against this argument is that Mahomes was chasing a record for 300 yard passing games. That record was broken by us. I'm not saying they weren't looking passed us but they did have something to play for besides a win.

The more I dig into this, the more I'm hearing that it was MB that overruled Keim to hire Wilks. In fact, Keim pretty much washed his hands of the situation. Keim & Arians were best buddies & chummed around (drank heavily) almost daily. Arians knew that a Wilks hire would be devastating, and emphasized that to MB. Keim did the same. Michael didn't like the closeness of the Arians/Keim relationship & made it HIS decision to hire Wilks.

This is the exact reason why I don’t like him. I get the talent on this team isn’t very good and he’s kept us competitive in some games, but he didn’t even follow through with his plan. Maybe it was lack of cap room this year and needing a qb, but we’re just a soft team.

Maybe it was a bad plan to begin with? Shipley was never good, Iupati has been average to below average his entire career in AZ. Pugh has been bad the last few years and hasn't been good here. was it his idea to sign an expensive fullback? does he think the wide receivers on the team are NFL caliber?

We were even worse on offense somehow when everyone on the line was healthy.

Call it whatever you want. I live in the same town where BA was born and raised. My kids attend the same HS that he attended. I know the very friends that he grew up with. He visits this area routinely. It's his hometown. When he has spoken at events in PA that I attended, EVERYONE there had a Steeler jersey on. My son & I would be the only ones there with Cardinal jerseys on. I'm not going into any more detail. I hate that I even shared what I did. Your entitled to your opinions. That's fine.

I dont understan, BA runs around town telling everyone including HS kids that him and Keim were drunk everyday? So was MB responsible for the success under the two drunks, or is BA a functional alcoholic, and SK isn't and that's the problem now?
