You can thank D'Antoni for that. The Kniks are at least keeping him in check so far.

They are? He has already traded away defensive talent for the sake of offensive talented players. That's not keeping it in check.

I wonder how many minutes after the ink dries on his new max extension does he announce his knee(s) need more work...pffft. It's getting to be about that time again...eh?


There are things I like about Amare but I'd rather see the Suns stink than to build around this guy. The audacity that the Suns have to "prove" something to him in order to keep him is ludicrous. Amare you're the one with more proving to do!

Youre right pokerface,

this October is anniversary #4 of the mrcrofracture. Right at the timetable of 4-5 years of possibly needing another operation. If I was suns gm, I'd hold out on the extension for now. If he needs another it will be two seasons before he can even think about playing up to a max contract.
