Yeah, I still love DeCastro, and I'd love to have him at 12, but this is a strange draft for me. Usually, I have that one player I want us to draft, and am upset if we don't draft him. This year? Not as much. DeCastro, Kalil if he falls (yeah, right), Ingram, Hightower...maybe even Rieff. I'd be good with any of those guys. Weird, this draft.

He's there for us. I have my fingers crossed it's DeCastro or a trade back with Hightower as the target.

no they didn't

Baloney. WR2 was a glaring hole, FA had the deepest pool of WRs in recorded memory, and we ignored...what? A GLARING NEED. Then we *gasp* draft to fill that need. Ugh. I'm just disgusted. 3 or 4 better players on the board, and we draft a frickin' WR.

In your opinion, and clearly the Cards opinion. Not in mine. And you and the Cards don't have a crystal ball to see the future, so my opinion is just as frickin' valid as yours. Stop stating opinions as absolutes, please.

You mean like you?? Stating as fact that this was a "need" pick and not just happens to be the Cards BPA on their board? Gotcha. ;)

Oh, I'm sure the Cards are convinced he was the BPA. Just like I can guaran-damn-tee you that he wouldn't have been BPA on their board if they had filled that roster hole in FA. So, to me, that means he was drafted for need.

Trade back in for DeCastro!

We did it for Branch, why the hell not for DDC?

If they were drafting for need they would have taken a tackle. There is no way you can say this was a need pick--there was clearly no bigger need than tackle.

Oh, to US there's no bigger need than at tackle. To KW, however, OT is not at all a need, if you can believe his interview the other day.

Seeing what money WRs were paid in free agency, I am ok with the Cardinals addressing the position through the draft. I wanted some other players, but I see why they did it.

As far as it being a need pick...well it was, but Floyd was also very highly ranked by most everyone in the industry. Ingram fell past the Jets who took Coples over him, and DeCastro fell to the Steelers so obviously others teams rated those three in the same grouping.
