Stromile is bigger than Amare.

Amare and one of them could start with the other coming off the bench for both.

We would still have enough money to sign another quality player to improve our backcourt. Someone like Brent Barry or Jamal Crawford.

Thomas by a big margin... I liked what Jahidi brought to the team and Thomas is a younger, faster Jahidi with a decent low post game. He'd be good for Lampe and Amare to go against in practice, which Lampe certainly needs. Long term, I see him as a back up for C and PF both - and defending the other teams' best low player regardless of which position he's playing on offense. He's not a perfect fit for the team in that he and Amare are low post players but Amare will likely move further out from the hoop as his jumper improves. In fact, Amare probably should move out a fair amount of the time just to reduce the wear and tear on his body - we want him to be a threat for a long time to come.
