If BA were available as a coach, I bet they'd trade Fischer for him in a heartbeat.

Not sure why you guys are so enamored with other fans message boards. You expect them all to bow down and kiss our asses?

We like to reminisce about how delusional we used to be, and see other division opponents doing the same now :)

We need to beat them on the field, before we call anyone names.

And yes, they would trade Fisher for Arians in as much time as it took to sign the form. Any team in the NFL would, outside of Foxboro.

I visit a lot of other sites, but more to learn more about their teams than anything.

I certainly don't get incensed about anything they say about us. I kind of expect it. I just skip over most of that and look for threads of substance.

Oh, and I love the calls for pitchforks/etc. for their own staff after we beat them. They are quite entertaining.

Go Cards!!!

Other then the idiot who said they hope to injure our QB, they actually seemed pretty sensible and even complimentry.

I do think their defensive coordinator tries to maim and hurt other players. Maybe he doesnt come out and say it (any more) but its inferred.

Lets get out with a win and no injuries!

Apparently the blue font means sarcasm on that site. It was in response that people were claiming they took CP out last year on purpose which they didn't. He wasn't really touched.

Here is my problem with BA talking, he did the same thing before the first Rams game and they lost. Is this going to happen again, all this talk and then we lose? Not sure if this is a good thing.

I understand the concerns over bulletin board material but I think BA is poking the Bear (Ram) on purpose while showing is confidence and instilling swagger in his players. BA is a master at getting into his players minds and motivating them and this is another example of this.

Hit us with your best shot because we will simply shake it off and then kick your but. BA is working on improving on Cardinal Tough (as Mitch talks about) because it is IMO the biggest area that needs improving. Not saying we are soft but we aren't tough enough yet.

Back to the OP, I don't think the Rams fans were pretty much anything but respectful (mostly) and correct. Heck if I wasn't a Cards fan I might think BA is a "dick" as well.

BA says what he says mostly to send messages to his players and not so much as shots at the opposition. The comment last year about our D being great but the Rams D getting all the headlines and attention was BA telling is players that he has their backs and believes in them. It also helped shine the spotlight on Bowles because BA truly wanted him to get a HC gig.

BA is a chess player while most fans are playing checkers and that's not a knock on us fans because this is BA's full time job and we for the most part are just being entertained, sort of watching a movie. Some try to figure out the plot and surprise ending in a movie but most of us just sit back and enjoy the images on the screen and then the thrill of being tricked/surprised by the plot twist.

Dear Rams Fans:

As we come to visit your city this week, remember this: the Cardinals owned it first, and we will own it again when you lose your team to LA. You have been so pathetic in your support of your teams that you are about to lose you second NFL team less than 30 years. You have no one to blame but yourselves.

Your owner wants nothing to do with you. He isn't just looking at the dollar signs in the LA market. He genuinely wants to leave your city and is willing to spend billions of his own money to do it.

Your facility is the worst in the NFL, from faulty pyrotechnic errors to a surface that gets players hurt. But maybe that second part is by design. You do have a coach (two, actually) that revels in injuring opponents. Rather than coach fundamentals, he coaches headhunting.

I would expect better from your great city. After all, your MLB team is a standard to which all other baseball clubs should aspire to be. And maybe it is because you are a baseball town that you have given up on this team. That's okay. They gave up on you a long time ago.

So as we venture into your crap stadium for what is hopefully our last trip to your city, all I can say is Merry Christmas to us.

Sincerely,

A Fan That Will Still Have a Team in 2016

As a native St Louisian who still lives here do not blame the fans for both teams leaving. In 1988 when the Cardinals left it was the city government who caused it. Not the fans. An agreement was made to build a stadium for the team in Earth City MO but the City of St. Louis vetoed it so Bill Bidwill moved the team to AZ.

The situation now is drastically different. The city, state, county and fans all are onboard with building a new billion dollar stadium. It is the owner this time that is the problem. He wants to move not because of lack of fan support but $ signs. I know a lot of people that are not going to the games this year as a protest against the owner.

OH and by the way I never left the Cardinals

The Rams and their fans are the coolest people on the planet. Heck, they are swell folks, like good people, down to earth football savvy and loyal to the max with a glorious bright future... in Los Angeles or somewhere or another :D

St Louis is a baseball and bowling town - football is somewhere further down the list.

Did I say bowling? Better check my calendar, it's not the 1960's any more (I think).
